I'm sure the photos are real but I cant believe those comments are real, but if they are they are so over the top sarcastic they can't be taken seriously. I think the tip off may be that "Kate Upton" is mentioned about 20 times. Seems fake or sarcastic to stick it to the media. If it's real, it's kind of douchey if you ask me. _

In a statement to Us magazine, Upton's lawyer, Lawrence Shire said, "This is obviously an outrageous violation of our client Kate Upton's privacy. We intend to pursue anyone disseminating or duplicating these illegally obtained images to the fullest extent possible." Just last month, Upton explained to Details magazine why she won't pose nude for photographers: "For me, those photos are art," she said. "Your body is art, your body is beautiful, and to be photographed in that way is amazing and it's received in a very positive way. But with social media and the Internet and not so great blogs and the attention like that, I don't think that my pictures would be received in the way that I'd want them to be received. That's why I've stayed away from them. I really appreciate those photos and I think those women are beautiful, but I think social media and the Internet has prevented me from putting myself out there like that." _
Who cares the reasoning behind the donation? Madoff donated money to a lot of charities and they never returned it and he committed a crime. Internet folks are just donating without causing actual harm.
Verlander's statement is waaaay too long and vague. Just say: "Ugh, I've had better" and be done with it. Remember Carrey's line from 'Liar liar"? That voice.

It's funny how reddit was so anti-government invasion of privacy but they are making all possible efforts to protect whoever is releasing these.
Well, stars can't have to much of an expectation of privacy - they are stars... History bares this out. Also, you can't be stupid about your passwords either.
I disagree. Being famous and having shitty passwords doesn't entitle people to steal your stuff. If someone leaves a Bentley unlocked with the keys in it in a high crime area, that does not give you the right to steal that car. It's still stealing regardless of how easy of a target it is.
