"You'd like for your guys to practice, but if a guy can't, I'm not going to say he absolutely can't play," Ryan said. "If a guy doesn't practice and he's low man on the depth chart, then he's not playing. But if he's a really good player, we're not going to back yourself into that corner."

Rex Ryan says some weird shit.

yup fire him for an injury he couldn't see coming! Because up till last august there were no issues with his legs, but that'll get ignored so whatthefuckever!

    But seriously,
    SIT HIM.

There is 0 reason for him to be playing, he's just going to re-injure himself. don;t play tough guy, don't trot him out if he can run a little bit, just because he might seem okay that doesn't mean he is.

You really typed all of that out after I sarcasmed a guy?

I thought you were more perceptive than that.

Milliner is slowly turning into a waste of space at this point, I understand injuries are not something anyone can predict (although I predicted this kid we drafted from Maryland was a walking IR) it's frustrating to throw such a high draft pick at a guy who has now been injured for what seems like as many games he's played. Nah.... we didn't need to address CB in free agency.

He played 14 games last year, started 12 of them. He missed two from injury and has missed one this year. Even though he was not 100%, he played against Green Bay.

    That's a total of missing 3 games.

Yeah, he's almost missed as many games as he's played.

Looks like Rex brought him back too soon. Now we restart the clock on his healing. Maybe keep him out perhaps 2 more games and make sure he's healthy in practices before he steps on the field in a game?

But, but...you can't predict injuries. Rex and Idzik aren't mind readers, ya know.

This is a bad thing? Milliner is a really bad player, and as a starter might be the worst starting corner in the league. The stats(while i admit its a small sample) clearly show we are a better football team with him OFF the field(less yards per play allows, less points allows, lower completion percentage allowed).

As far as idzik, its not his fault milliner is hurt, it is his fault for making such a terrible pick talent wise

First of all, he's not a bad corner.

Second of all, he is not the worst starting corner in the league.

Third of all, he's a second year player playing one of the hardest position in the NFL.

How can you sit here and say we're better off with him off the field? You honestly believe that?

Milliner was a high risk high reward pick everyone knows that he had multiple surgerys on his knees. He is not the worst corner in the league but when you take a corner that high as 9 he needs to be special. I think its too early to say it was a bad pick but i dont see him on the level of a young cromartie because thats his ceiling he is not a technique guy he is a gifted athlete.

Doesn't mean you can sit here and say he's a bad corner and we are better off without him on the field.

It's year two. How can that conclusion be made?

This is just a bad post.

When Milliner came into the game, it was because Walls was getting handled by Jordy Nelson. Milliner made a few very nice pass defenses when he got into the game, but Green Bay wanted to test that ankle, so they went with a double move to Nelson because that is the kind of route that is very tough to keep up with when you have a tight high ankle.

And when they saw the same rookie safety covering the deep middle they used the exact same route again and scored with it.

One right knee scope. But yes, he seems to have had multiple injuries. Except in college, playing through these injuries against inferior opponents wasn't a big deal. Now it is.

I think he was rushed back too quickly. The quad is probably a compensation injury for the ankle. A sign of panic by Rex.
