This one hurts big time. We get to see the potential of this team yet self destruct (not to mention a few bad calls). I hope they learn from this one and see the potential. And Jordey Nelson is a homo....
MM cost us this game. Calling the pass instead of a run cost us 3-7 points and gave the Packers 7 points and his TO call for no apparent reason cost us 7. He cost us 17-21 points in a game we lost by 7 points.
the most annoying game in the world… That stupid timeout…. not that there weren't other various moments that they could have played better, but godamned thats just infuriating. at least they were out of conference, and the team looked hella competent to start the game, not that it mattered in the end....
After fifty-four years of existence I thought the Jets had exhausted every possible means of humiliating defeat. But today they proved me wrong. They are true virtuosos.
You are kidding right? You don't remember the 0 TD and 5 Int game against the Bills his rookie year. Sanchez didn't throw a TD pass in 18 games over his career. This game was such a heart breaker! I was so excited to see how well the O played..... then the 2nd half came. Will we ever have a consistently good O with Rex?
I wasn't surprised even after a great start that Rodgers would eventually beat us. Too many what ifs in this game. Just not an overall strong performance. In other words this team hasn't shown they have gone to the next level yet. I think they match up better with the Bears. Rodgers is much better and more consistent than Cutler. Put the big rush on him and you can get to him. But it has to be a 4 quarter effort. Playing great for a half doesn't cut it.
From reading this Forum after the Oakland game, you'd have thought fans could have started buying playoff tickets . We were the best team in the AFCE if not on earth. We crushed the Oakland Raiders statistically and that's all that matters nevermind the score. Then we went up to Green Bay, WI and came back down to earth. We found out we're not as good as we'd like to think we are. Biggest takeaway from the game? We're not elite yet and still have a ways to go yet both on the field and on the sidelines. Welcome back to Earth..
And reading this forum after the game against GReen Bay you'd think we just lost our 8th straight game by 50 points. The highs are really high, and the lows are really low. This is nothing new.
I'm actually hoping for a tie. Just because I'd like to see what side dominates the forum in the 2 following days.
Given the history of this board, you'd most likely hear crickets. No one would even start a thread about that but instead, find some other issue to either complain about or praise ad nauseum.
