I make a great chicken tiki masala which always results in prodigious volumes of diarrhea. Which I prefer. Quite frankly. _
Then you'll be happy to know that I'm being 100% serious, and I can assure you Mark will never walk the same again. I should apologize to the fan base though, because I can't even hint at what I did to Sanchez that night. All I can say is I'm not surprised he started so slowly against Pitt the next week.
I don't mean to be maudlin but I have two mothers-in-law and I don't even have a wife. How about THAT! _
what is with this boards obssesion with sproles? He doesn't get a look at WR. He's 5'7 and 165 lbs soaking wet. He's a return guy and if he bulks up a bit will get looks at receiver. He might be mixed in but I wouldn't be expecting any special packages for him any time soon.
The security blanket he gives quarterbacks is worth the obsession. He's done nothing but be a major threat in every passing offense he's been involved in and is literally uncoverable out of the backfield by linebackers and strong safeties.
If you can't see why a guy like Sproles would be extremely helpful to a guy like Geno, I dunno what to tell you. If Saunders could emulate even 75% of what Sproles does that's a huge help.
Sure I can...what I'm saying is we don't have sproles so asking about jalen Saunders bc of Darren sproles makes no sense So we can obsess over sproles in another offense and starting asking about undersized fast players but it's not apples to apples at all Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
Given Saunders' strengths, it's worth seeing what he can do in that role. That's all I'm saying. He's obviously not going to be Sproles but it seems like we have the personnel to run a few plays for the guy behind the line of scrimmage.
Maybe at some point...but nobody was saying this until the sproles game....let's all calm down...jalen isn't ready to fill that role and we have little wiggle room to experiment Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
No one may have been saying it, but the second we drafted him it was obvious what kind of role he would have in the WCO. Again, all I'm saying is given the guy's skillset, it's worth giving him a few snaps a game.
If it was worth giving him those snaps he would be getting them or have gotten them in preseason. It's not worth it yet, maybe later this year or next year. The jets are gelling offensively to throw in a raw super small WR to experiment is not a good idea. And again, this whole idea is in reaction to Darren sproles ... Just bc Saunders is also small doesn't mean it's worth experimenting. Different system, different team.... As quickly as you all can correlate to sproles I will just as quickly point to dexter mccluster. Saunders is more like mccluster.. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
It's not in reaction to Sproles at all. Like I said, the second we drafted him it was obvious what his role would be in the offense... so I'm just wondering when he'll get a chance to play that role. Also, McCluster is a bad comparison. He's the same height, a little lighter, but has a much better 40 speed. Saunders ran a 4.44 while McCluster ran a 4.58. They are the same player in height, and that's just about where the comparison ends.
Dexter Mcluster is like De'anthony Thomas, they are incredibly fast on the football field, but they both ran bad 40's, if you watch their combine 40's they both dragged their feet along the track, and is apparent they did not spend alot of time perfecting their sprinting form for the 40, whereas someone like Clowney lost weight and trained exclusively to run a blazing 40. Don't put too much stock in combine 40's.
