We aren't we using CJ like Eagles are using Sproles?

    Should I expect a season of 1.8 YPC with CJ taking snaps away from Ivory and Powell.

    After a couple of Preseason games anyone should realize CJ should'nt be used as our main back.

    What is Marty doing?

    Foles , McCoy , Maclin , Ertz and even Riley Cooper are just a bit more talented then the offense we have.

    We didn't have a single screen in that game. We barely ran CJ to the outside. He sucks inside the tackles.

    But hey, we GROUND AND POUND.

    Marty needs to wake the fuck up.

    Tonight's Eagles game is a perfect example to why Johnson isn't used like Sproles.
    I think Johnson is nearly as quickly as Sproles is.
    He may be faster, but there is a big difference between stright ahead speed and quickness.
    Sproles and McCoy are two of the best.

    If CJ had Sproles "shake and bale" moves, he would be unstoppable.
    Plus I'm not really sure how good Johnson is at catching the ball out of the backfield.

    I think the way MM is using him, sharing carries with Ivory, is perfect.
    If you want something different, the Jets better think about getting a new OC and number#1 running back.

    Your point is fine. But I thought I remember several plays in which we tried to stretch CJ to the outside, and it didn't work. Maybe Ivory too? I could've sworn we tried those plays early and were losing yardage.

    Having said that, I could also definitely be mistaken.

    While we're at it, why aren't we using Calvin Pace like JJ Watt?

    And why the FUCK didn't we ever use Stephen Hill like Calvin Johnson?

    Chris Johnson is a completely different player. Guy had 0 elusiveness. He's just fast. Powell is more elusive than him.

    Didn't they trade a 5th round pick for him?I was shocked we weren't all over that,who did we even draft with our 5th round pick?I wanted him over CJ
