The call/read leaves a bad taste in your mouth but Winters getting beat like a drum and almost having Geno get his knees taken out or 6 foot 1000 Sudfeld letting a DB catch a ball right in front of him, you swallow?

He had a few key misses and a few mechanics issues. But other than that he wasn't bad. I agree that the INT wasn't his fault, per-say, but he missed CJ on a check down which would have kept the drive going and possibly ending in a score.

Had Winters held his block like he was supposed to, it was a touchdown pass. No reason to throw your checkdown when you have a wide open guy by the endzone. Geno had no idea he was going to get obliterated as he released.

Nice video showing Decker changing his line on the ball two or three times. I don't remember anything about strong, gusty winds.

    I agree.

He's played pretty good the final 4 games last season & so far this year....4-2 in that span.

We may get worse before we get better...but we will.

Either you imagine a player changing his line or you don't know what a double move is, either way there is no doubt that the ball was overthrown.

I'm pretty sure the shortest distance between two points is still a straight line and I can't figure out why a receiver would be putting moves on a guy he has already beaten.

In between the 45 and 40 on the GB side you can see Decker take one step flattening his route and then readjusting. I don't think that's a problem though, but probably left him that step short.

Geno overthrew it but I think Decker had a solid chance to get a hand on it anyways by stretching out. Would have been an unbelievable catch and not a TD which means Geno messed the throw since Decker should be getting in stride for a TD

I thought his receivers took the second half off. Except for Decker, who was hurt and out a lot of the time. I always believe the QB knows the play. If he is throwing behind guys when he is not pressured, I think they are daydreaming through their routes. That is just the way I look at it.

Why isn't it a problem? Don't you think that would affect the timing on the play?

Decker turned for that ball on the 50 yard line, pretty safe to assume he was planing on it somewhere between the 40 and 35. It landed out of reach on the 29.

Geno is doing well. How do I know this? Because when he plays we can no longer play the drinking game INT,Fumble,Punt like we could with Sanchez.

If I remember correctly, Geno was scrambling out of the pocket on this throw so I think it was more playground style than a play.

That's me guessing though, I might be remembering the play wrong

You're remembering it correctly. Once Geno got flushed from the pocket and forced right, the timing of the play went out the window.

Well that's not true because he has had turnovers in both games so far even if some were not his fault

Just for the record we are 4-0 when Geno doesn't throw an INT,if that means anything to anyone
