Play conservative against a quarterback that's capable of dropping 45 on any defense in the league though? It's easy in hindsight to play conservative knowing the play is an interception and it's easy in hindsight to say if 6'7" Zach Sudfeld jumps 4 inches off the ground to get a finger tip on the ball against a 6'0" safety no one's complaining.

It's just very easy to say we SHOULD'VE ran the ball and I'm not saying you all don't acknowledge the hindsight in the matter I'm just saying I agree with the play call along with the read by Geno. It's unfortunate our left guard sucks and doesn't protect the inside which is way more crucial than the outside. If Winters forces him outside like all guards should do we have no issue.

Eating up the clock and keeping the ball out of their hands isn't playing "conservative"...it's playing smart.

We're not gonna win in a shootout with Aaron Rodgers. Even if we score seven there, they had 3 time-outs, close to 2 mins. on the clock and EVEN better field position to start their drive than they had with the int.

    That ain't hindsight, that's fact.

Smith should have gotten the ball out more quickly. He admitted as much himself.

Nobody said that discipline was all that was needed to be a good HC. Get real.

This loss was on everybody, the very definition of a team loss. Every phase of the team played a role in the loss. Very frustrating but hopefully they learn from their mistakes.

    i agree

you run on first down and make them burn a timeout. then on second down, you can pull their LB's in with a play fake or run it again and make them burn a second .TO.

worst case, youre up 24-9 kicking it away and the packers are lucky to get out of the half with another FG to make it 24-12 ... best case, its 28-9, theres little and TOs time left after the score, and we get the ball back at half time

marty always says that geno needs to learn to be a master of situational football, but marty has a ways to go in that area, as well

It's easy to say this with the benefit of hindsight. Geno got hit low as he threw which made the ball wobble in the air. Unfortunate break for us. We are in Lambeau with a big lead you go for the kill.

What is he going to say? Brian Winters sucks and needs to hold his block longer?

It's not like there was a blitz. It was a four man rush and a six man protection allowing the back to leak out if there's no blitzes which there wasn't. He got to the back of his drop stepped up to throw and got drilled.

Rex is a motivator but he doesn't discipline his players that well. He also makes mistakes in his play calling. As for MM, I'll give him a pass this week.

Repeated penalties, players ejected, timeout always burned early in the half, calling timeouts before touchdowns...Rex really has control, doesn't he? And he had only been at it 5 years. Let's give him 5 more years (of excuses)

Rex Ryan said the Jets actually had one play on offense with 10 players on the field. #nyj

Maybe all the stupid trick plays involving backup QB's at wide receiver.

I don't understand why this stuff isn't sorted out in practice. It's poor sideline management and a lack of focus from players knowing their personnel groups.

It was one of the timeout plays in the second half. Not going to bash you, but Manish is a fucktard for not knowing about it. Dipshit didn't even pay attention to the game.
