Did you read my post? I agree he misses the net on a constant basis and needs to improve his faceoffs. If Kreids and Nash bury the puck won't he have more assists? I agree with you he has alot of room for improvement....

Did you read MY post? I am talking about GOALS not assists. His assist total was fine for a center, but the Center for the top line needs to score more GOALS.

His biggest problem especially on the PP, he seemingly loses every faceoff

Show me ONE statistic in which Derek Stepan improved from 2012 to 2013. Are you completely mad? He scored MORE GOALS in a strike-shortened season than he did all of last year!!

Bad effort on my part... I updated the post.

 

Again, Derek Stepan's 17 goals placed him 55th in the league among centers. That means at least 25 second line or worse centers scored more goals than our first line center.

Remember, the Rangers don't score enough goals, but it isn't Stepan's fault.

 

Jonnyd is NOT a Stepan guy. Aactually, I shouldn't say that. I just wish he was our 2nd line center and I'd have a constand erection if he was our 3rd line center. ( this would assume our first two are much better than he is)
