Hate to admit it, but Bottom line is Jets deserved to lose. It's beyond that 1 play. Winters, Geno sucking. Couldn't get a damn 1st down after going up 21-3. Geno missing a wide open Kerley on 2nd down after the stupid timeout. Jordy Nelson abusing our '13 and '14 first rounders. Pryor has to make that tackle after Milliner gets toasted. Calvin Pryor can hit but too bad he can't cover or tackle in the open field or catch a ball that hits him in the hands. He also looks tiny out there, about as big as Jim Leonhard. Blame the idiot GM for passing on brandin cooks and kelvin Benjamin.
There are lots of things to be mad about. The defense shitting the bed. The shitty offensive playcalling. Lack of discipline on certain penalties. Players getting ejected. The fact is that over all of that the Jets came back and tied the game with 3 minutes left. then they got screwed on a shit interpretation of a shit rule. That doesnt change the fact of the things that I listed above. They still all happened. However how many times have people said "it was ugly but you got the win". This forces the storyline to be about the shit play rather than getting a win.
Wouldn't the refs be continuously be blowing the whistle if it were a time out, to stop play? I never heard a fuckin whistle
Well maybe cooks but it's likely that neither would have helped today. This is the kind of familiar game we would blow back in the day. All the same.
I couldn't have put it better myself. Rex, his staff, his players, every man on the roster owns this loss today. I saw very little out of the Jets after they got up to the big lead. They coasted and they let GB back in the game. Knowing that GB gets every call in Lambeau should have been drilled into every Jet on the field. The CS should have been better prepared for GB's adjustments in the second half. They had to know it was coming. They took the run away and dared Geno to beat them thru the air. Geno isn't that QB yet. Sorry, but I'm not impressed with Decker at all. He has a rep that was made in no small part by Peyton Manning. With Geno, he's not the threat he used to be but sadly, he's the best threat we have. If this doesn't scream draft a blue chip Wr in 2015 nothing ever will. I saw no adjustments by our CS. I saw the offense go thru the motions in the 2nd half. I saw the defense hang in there just like always but the secondary betrayed them. Still too many holes to be a legitimate contender. 2015 if we're lucky.
It's the well we sucked more nonsense that kills me. So because the Jets played a bad 2nd half they deserved to get screwed? Of course not. The fucked up call still is part of the game. Green Bay made plenty of mistakes too, the fumble, 4 sacks, the onside kick, the INT that was called back, the game came down to a few plays and sadly the refs fucked this one up.
He plays the refs just like Manning and Brees. They are stars and the rules are there to protect them. Regardless, did the refs give him 350 yards, 3 TDs, and 30 rushing yards? Come on. Whine all you wan, but he kicked our ass and we let him do it.
