Richardson called the timeout! Rex was behind the ref and when MM started yelling for a TO Richardson leaned over and called for the TO. The ref knew Rex was behind him and must have assumed it was him! Watch the replay closely
fix was in a half time when the announcer announced the was 21-17 Packers.....plus refs never blew whistle on the phantom time out.. that took 7 points of the board...can't make this shit up!
we miss an interception b/c of 12 men on the field and then lose a TD on a time out that could not have been called...awesome
The offense gave this team a 21-3 lead. What has Ryan's mantra always been? "Give us the lead and we will win the game". It's not the phantom time out or the refs or the play calling. It is, once again, the failing of that genius Rex's Vaunted Defense.

A player standing next to Rex stepped to the official said something in his ear and then he called timeout. Rex probably told him to say timeout
Exactly.... that ref needs to be suspended. What a fucking joke. Rex was right next to him, regardless of what Trent Green says that ref knows where Rex is and that Rex is the only one who can call timeout. Why the fuck would Rex walk away from him and call timeout?
Does anyone think the ref doesn't know what Rex's voice sounds like? Sorry, the Jets got screwed there. Plain and simple. Oh, and all 22 players played the play as though the play wasn't stopped - retarded not to have let the play stand.
The NFL's gonna need to answer to this mistake by the ref. It's his error, not anyone on the Jets. You can't grant a timeout to someone who's not allowed to call one.
