We are humorously unlucky at recovering forced fumbles. Last week Coples wrecked MJD and stripped the ball, which by pure chance was kicked literally right into Carr's hands. If that bounced a little different that could have been returned for a TD.
Yeah, than fumble plus the Pryor interception-that-wasn't could have changed the complexion of that game easily. But then so could have a TD or two in the 4 red zone visits the offense had. We're still a season away from being ready.
Arron Rogers: 95 Career Games. 94 Games with at least one TD. Amazing. 1 Game with zero TDs. What defense was that single zero TD game against? Rex Ryan and the NY Fucking Jets baby! Happy Halloween 2010. Double Amazing.
haha yup Thank FB feed http://www.newyorkjets.com/news/art...-Packers/e6f03caf-a2e8-48ba-926d-4412c339a82f
It's too bad our offense couldn't score a single point in that same game. That is the gift and the curse of having Rex Ryan.
It's just amazing that the ONLY team/defense to EVER shut Arron Roger down was Rex Ryan in his 2nd season with the Jets. 95 teams have tried but only Rex/Jets have done it. A Ryan defense is no joke. But like you say, without an offense, so what. Hopefully this is where MM comes in with Geno and saves the day.
Are we that bad that people don't even consider we got a 1% chance to win, around the league seems to be the story lol
Yes sir! couldn't have said it better if my name was B Scott. I think he is the only person I've seen pick the Jets. Cat wait for this game. I think we win by more than a field goal
Keyshawn picked the Pats to win that divisional round game and I don't think he's picked against the Jets once ever since Bart Scott screamed at him in the postgame interview.
Bart was shouting down Tom Jackson, he thanked Keyshawn for having their backs, and I'm not positive but I sort of remember him picking the Jets in that game. Edit: yeah, Key picked the Jets. The prediction page on ESPN.com looks like it's gone but PFT talks about it here: http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.co...ns-curious-explanation-of-his-jets-pats-pick/ Seems like a million years ago now.
I think that was the game Sanchez threw "2 INTs" that were literally snatched out of the hands of his WRs.
Damn. I remember Key picking against the Jets for that game, then going with them for the Pitt game like he had learned his lesson. Must be losing my mine. Anyway, that was a good link. I never realized Bart Scott's rampage had such an effect on the ESPN panel making the picks. Here's the last sentence: UPDATE: Jackson has said that he indeed believed that the Pats would win, and that he offered up his alternative explanation only because he was stung by the fact that Scott had called Jackson out
maybe this will be the week the football universe aligns itself and the Jets come out with a bunch of turnovers.
It is amazing! I wasn't trying to downplay that feet....er I mean feat. Sorry, I couldn't help it. I love Rex and what he has done for the D. I just wish he would have put a little more focus on the O. I like the direction we are heading in with MM now. I'm not sold on Geno yet, but I have hope.
