Associated Press broke the story first here is the tweet: The Associated PressVerified account@AP BREAKING: AP Source: Law enforcement official sent copy of Ray Rice tape to NFL executive in April Here's the full story via ESPN (Published about 5 mins ago). http://espn.go.com/nfl/story/_/id/11503851/ray-rice-videotape-sent-nfl-executive-april
Thanks. Goodell is going to have to resign They never got the video... It must have been taken by the same fairies that destroyed the spy gate evidence
Ray Rice should challenge the suspension. I know it's not right because he knocked that chick out ... the original ruling was 2 games ...
It might be and it should. However, they made a revision to his suspension because they "didn't see the video"
Apparently, the law enforcement official played a voicemail message to the AP person showing that the NFL did in fact receive it. The person who acknowledged receipt of the video even says it's terrible. I think Roger may have a hard time getting out of this now.
Not a big Goodell guy but we need more than this. How do we even know the taped call was for the 2nd video and not the original one he's dragging her in the hallway?
Didn't Roger tell Sean Peyton something like if you didn't know what was going on, you should have? Should apply to him too.
All reports are saying the law enforcement person stated it was video of him punching her in the face. I'm at work so I can't link any articles, but the head article on espn.com says that.
I take back everything I said, If this is true. I gave him the benefit of the doubt because I thought they did not have the video. I think the owners will ask for his head.
So somebody said the NFL saw that video of Rice punching his wife when they suspended Rice the 1st time? Wow if thats true the NFL is fucked. Who gives a fuck about Rice?
The someone that said the NFL had the video in April was the police. There's a link in the other thread.
