yeah, the Colts would suffer a bit more than seattle or Philly would if they lost their young star behind center, because the Eagles and Seahawks are better TEAMS than Indy at this time. The Colts are the team that lean's the most on their young QB for success, take one look at tLucks comeback vs KC for example. thats one of the better explanation's as to why he's often considered the best of the bunch, without him Indy's playoff chances go down the crapper… kind of like Rodgers and GB really.
Going 11-5 with what you concede is an inferior team does not factor in the better QB discussion? Are you sure you are not arguing about who is the better fantasy QB?
I mean will he be consistent? Consistency is the key for a good QB. If a QB isnt consistent then he won't last
Agree with the bold. At this point in their careers Rodgers carries his team on his back at a more efficient rate in terms of numbers but I think Luck will eventually get there down the line. In the meantime, he continues to pull wins out of his ass.
Do you not remember the mess the Eagles were before Foles came in? They were 1-4 to start the year. Foles came in the game in week 5 and the Eagles went 9-1 with him as their QB. Wilson took the Hawks from a 7-9 team to 13-3 and Superbowl champs in his second season. Arguing that they're less important to their teams than luck is to the colts is stupid IMO.
r: 11338"]True. It is Detroit though.[/quote] If we blow it this week we will be 0-3 after the Lions game.
So what you're saying is that if Foles goes down Sanchez can start for them with minimal change to the level of offensive play?
I remember Foles also went 1-5 the year before and lost the open competition to Vick that year but that's probably stupid since it does not fit in nicely with the narrative.
Just saying this team looks bad this year. I don't think it matters much though. Seattle and Denver are both going to the super bowl again I think. Both are in a class by themselves. SF is the only team that can stop Seattle or if Seattle gets injuries then they might not make it.
