It's amazing how visual us humans really are. I was angry, but after seeing the video, I agree. What really changed? I guess now everyone's opinion has changed cause the video is out there for the public to see.
TMZ is disgusting. Everyone should put cameras on harvey levin 24/7 to see how he likes it. Couple tries to move on with their life and this crap is release a day after opening day.
Passive aggressive fuck boy? How about just admitting that your position was untenable? You went on a thirty post reply defending Ray about how she spit on him, spitting can get you killed in Irvington NJ so it was warranted--no, EXPECTED, that he punched the shit out of her. So now that you see the video of what exactly went down, what we already knew what happened--REGARDLESS of who spit on whom--NOW he's in the wrong? A 230 pound professional athlete knocked the shit out of the mother of his child. Regardless of anything that happened before that, he was wrong when we had this earlier discussion just as he's wrong today. Defending Rice for ANY reason is misguided, depraved and disgusting, regardless of whether you were raised on those hard streets of Irvington NJ. _
Couple tries to move on? Do you think his wife would've married him if he wasnt a millionaire? There are reports out there now that the Ravens might released him due to the video being released. Watch that marriage end very quickly after that happens. Both parties deserve blame in this incident but Ray Rice deserves about 98 percent of the blame. I despise TMZ but other sites like Bob's Blitz released these type of things too. Its how the world is today. If your in the public eye and you fuck up you will be exposed.
Nothing changed. We saw him dragging her out of the elevator unconscious--after reports that he knocked the shit out of her. So folks here defended Ray. It was partially her fault and she deserved--no, she ASKED for it. NOW that they see he actually slugged her, their defense goes away but what they said back a month ago does not. The posts are still there, but it doesn't serve anyone's interest to quote them. Unless the defenders start attacking those of us who thought it appalling back then. _
No I don't have to admit anything to you. I wasn't quick to put all the heat on Ray because sometimes things happen. Now that the video is released Ray is at fault 100%. There's nothing else to argue about. ^ ^ That other stuff you're talking about is your usual douche behavior. EDIT: I never "defended" Ray Rice either.
yahoo has articles calling for Baltimore to release Rice. This video may spell kiss of death for Rice. Balt, is shooting itself in the foot either way.
His career is over. Its kind of shitty but plenty of athletes have done this type of stuff. But since it wasnt on camera they kinda get a pass for it.
I recall you being the douche in that thread. YOU defended Ray. YOU knew Ray knocked her out. YOU said she deserved what she got. Irvington rules, as it were. _
This tape should have been out a long time ago. Ray is a fucking monster - I feel bad for the wife and that kid though - that kid will never hear the end of this - being subjected to abuse at an early age just does not body well for the future. I think Ray hit her on several occasions.
Pick your terms and defend them. Punching and knocking out a smaller woman by a professional world class 230 pound athlete is wrong under any circumstances, save attack by a deadly weapon or physical deadly harm to a loved one. You thought otherwise. _
Based on that video he does look like he beats her. The way things went down this looks like something that has happened on more than one occasion.
If you don't believe in hitting women you can't put up qualifiers to justify hitting women. I never said Ray was right for knocking her out. But I understand that people make mistakes. But after seeing the video Ray was in the wrong.
He looked far too calm in that elevator. I don't know why she came at him like she did but man you didn't have to knock her out
Exactly, non wife beaters would be trying to restrain their wife/girlfriends. He was way too casual about it.
everything about your argument. -it makes no sense for you to make the claim that you were never defending Rice earlier, when it damn well looked like it -you never said he was right, but you understand mistakes? makes no sense -That video changes your argument???? Isn't it exactly what everyone thought it was -Rice knockin his old lady out? How is that any different from what we talked about weeks ago...makes no sense that this video would provide enlightenment to the situation..now -and then there's the whole fact that you reserved judgement in the first place. An NFL player knocked his old lady unconscious. It makes no sense to reserve judgement until you see the video. The fact that she was knocked unconscious by him should be enough I would think
