Antonio Allen had a great game both in coverage and in making one-on-one tackles! Nice Job AA!!

Antonio Allen could be one of the revelations of the season. Allen was huge today right on every receiver either throwing them down or batting away passes. After all the issues with the Jets secondary Allen has stepped up and delivered.

    key word is "could be"

Lets hope that is true, it is only week 1...But lets see how he performs the next 6 weeks

    Rodgers
    Cutler
    Stafford
    Rivers
    Manning

Not only did he play well in coverage and tackling but if you really watched those plays his tackling form is incredible. Breakdown and wrap.

It's very important to have this in Rex's defense. He likes to back the corners off in 3rd and long to the first down marker. It allows for us to simply give up the short curl and hook routes on 3rd and long to his side because you know he's going to make the tackle. Very valuable.

If we want to stand a chance against those QBs the d-line needs to take a page out of Wilkerson's book today. Hands up, bat it down. Mo got his hands on a couple today.

I had confidence in AA coming into this season and he proved that today. Very good game.

    but but Wilkerson overrated!!

Allen was awesome today...Walls was solid...Millner and Allen on the corners, I'd feel confident going forward (walls can be the switch up guy).

What an awesome performance by a guy playing out of position. Maybe CB is his natural spot?

You'll be getting a letter from Austin Howard's attorney's demanding you delete the gif at the end of your page! Can't believe how bad Coples beat him to the inside.

My most underrated part of this defense. He makes plays, and I am very happy we made him a CB.

I love AA as much if not more than the next guy but let's keep things in perspective. He just played a rookie QB playing his first NFL game ever with some average WRs. If anything Rex should be given the credit for having the wherewithal to come up with the idea NOT Idzik. Idzik didn't even draft AA not sure what crow any of those posters, who I don't even agree with, should be eating.

His coverage was great, but that tackling was incredible.
