I was just watching the Pump Up video for our season and was just in awe watching some of the runs Ivory and Chris Johnson made. Was also amazed at the moves Powell made last year on screen passes and on run plays. How many on here believe this year might be the best performance from the running back position we've ever had? I am talking at the complete position, not just one back. Comparing it to the likes of Jones/Greene, etc. Can't help but to be excited as hell for this offense this year!!
The best runningback we ever had was recently inducted into the Hall of Fame. To suggest otherwise because of a fucking Pump Up video is idiotic. Go let your little green nuts drop.
Before I added a paragraph? Lmao It was never edited you idiot. I never changed it from when I first posted it. You just made yourself look like a moron because you can't read.
You have 60 seconds to edit a completely retarded post before that little "edited" tag shows up under your post. You are a liar as well as a plebe.
You're such a fuckin idiot. I never edited haha ask any mod to look at that. In fact, the fuckin title is labeled as "running backs".
I'd put Freeman McNeil and Johnny Hector over this group for now. If Ivory stays healthy and Johnson and he put up monster numbers, that's subject to change.
I think the best part about this year's backs is the compliment they all have on one another. You have a guy like Ivory who can pound the shit out of the ball. Runs like a freight train and can really wear out defenses. Then you have a guy like Chris Johnson who, in the blink of an eye, can hit a hole for 50+ yards. Fast and very explosive. And to compliment them both, you have Bilal Powell who does some awesome things in open space and is a great pass catching back. All of these seem to build on each other perfectly.
If were going by total yardage then its going to be hard to eclipe the over 2000 CMart and Jordan put up in 2004.
True. Without a doubt, it should be an exciting year. If they don't wind up being the best group, they should wind up being a close second.
I think that was more Curtis Martin. We shall see this year, but I think we are gonna see a pretty even split between Ivory and Johnson. Johnson may carry a few more a game, but it should be pretty even.
It was mostly curtis, but the way herm utilized them worked well. Lamont did allot of damage in the 4th quarter giving Martin plays off to stay strong at the end of games.
Don't leave Richie Anderson out of that combo since they all played together at 1 point (even though I think '02 was Richie's last year).
