I just noticed this thread.... well, JI.com and this site had quite a few flame wars in the past but all those altercations ended when BBCF got exposed (if you remember BBCF, you gotta be a true veteran of football message boards ). I started TGG.com one year after Sooth founded JI.com and it's kinda sad to see them go off the independent route. But I guess Sooth was made an offer he couldn't refuse. Good luck to him and JI.com! P.S. I'd guess that most people who no longer want to be there will go to JN.com, as that site pretty much branched off JI.com. P.P.S. Stop hijacking threads already! BBCF was about as shameless a troll as I saw in the early days. We have a new breed now. Still just as shameless, though.

Sincerely, I don't know why this thread should be considered sacred ground where "the proprieties are to be observed" and I honestly don't see any sparring here as respesenting unconscionable irreverence in the midst of some solemn funeral of a dear and departed friend. In short I could care less if someone was figuratively dancing on J.I.'s grave here in this "non-TGG" thread. Just my 2 cents.

How much do you think JI forum got sold to Scout for? I should know these types of things as I work in a similar field and we acquired the #1 fan forum for a sport a while back. Probably different circumstances as these are team forums
No, it was just a feeler. I never responded and never heard from them again. I don't think they would have offered any money unless I met with them in person and signed some kinda NDA. The owner of JN.com also got a similar email and did meet with them, according to what I read on JN.com. They asked him to sign an NDA before getting into the $$$ specifics and he backed out.
It's funny reading the JI thread, they are already having a turf war with the existing Scout.com Jets fans.
