Nobody even put in a waiver claim for this guy. Wonder if he signs to our practice squad.

And I'm glad Simms is on the practice squad. People sometimes tend to overrate our players and for him to get picked up he'd have to beat out a backup on an NFL roster which is unlikely and many teams don't carry 3 QBs. Let's give him a year to develop and then bring in a mid round rookie to compete with him next year

I think Hill gets signed next week, again after week 1 the contract is not guaranteed money so a lot of teams wait till after week one to add any players that get cut.

A lot of coaches JUST set there roster to, so a lot would like to see their roster in action first before they start taking people off and replacing em to.

the guarantees are for vested vets, which hill is not one. 4 years of service to be vested.

I knew Stephen Hill was bad, but I didn't think he was "Pass 31 Teams on Waivers and not get signed to a Practice Squad" bad.

Yeah, then his fucking agent goes "Hopefully he goes to a team with a Quarterback who can actually get him the ball". Yeah like his POS client isn't to blame. I remember it was the same way with Gholston too. These guys will blame everyone before they look in the mirror.

I agree the Jets poorly developed Mark Sanchez...but Tim Tebow and Stephen Hill were Tannenbaum's/Woody's fault. Should have never traded for Tebow just for the media presence he brings. They didn't play him all season...and let's be honest...Tebow's career wasn't stellar before that. They didn't ruin Tebow.

Stephen Hill just stinks. Poor catching technique...not physical....doesn't secure ball...injury prone. I also blame Sanjay Lal...just for being a horrible WRs coach.

Oh please,Tebow ruined his own carrer,as did Sanchez ,Hill might have had success with great QB play but we haven't had that on this team.Sanchezs carrer was ruined way before he got injured.Let's take the easy way out and blame the coach, because Rex is the one who threw over 50 interceptions
