    Looks like the helmet they included in that box of football equipment we got when we were kids. I got the Jets (with the Namath jersey-but the white helmet), my one brother got the Redskins, my other brother got the Giants (I think Tarkington) and my other brother got the Vikings.

    I had an authentic like that as a kid, I painted the facemask black though when the Jets changed their uni's and helmets in 1990.

    It looks like one of those plastic knockoffs. I still have my helmet from HS and it looks like a pro helmet compared to the one Prokop is wearing in that picture. :D

    1 week earlier, I remember the Jets players jumping up and down celebrating the miss then a week later it was Steeler players doing the same thing w/ Brien.

    One thing about Foley, he had a pair of balls on him. I remember when he was a senior at BC and they were playing Rutgers, some reporter caught up with him as he was heading to his locker and asked Foley about Rutger's chances of going to a bowl game and he said "the only bowl Rutgers is going to is the one I just got off of". :D

    And that was BEFORE the game.
