You apparently don't watch football because the rules were recently changed. So before you open your big mouth to try and insult someone, do some research or stfu.

What to do with Hill is really a fascinating test of this regime's philosophy. Draft status v. performance. We shall soon see, but I do think the test is a bit complicated by the fact that there are no real proven performers fighting for Hill's place after Decker, Kerley, Nelson and Salas.

When it is looked at like that its a no brainer hill is gone. Consider the 4 you listed plus hakim as the k.r. you are pitting hill a 2nd rd pick of the last g.m. against saunders a 4th from this year by the current g.m.
    no contest

You might be right about the outcome, but I have not seen enough or heard enough about Saunders to say it's a no brainer.

Teams do not cut 4th round picks the year they're picked. Has that ever happened?

Nah they'll just rot on the inactive list like Anthony Schlegel.

I have not seen anything suggesting saunders is in jeopardy of being cut. He was listed as the primary punt returner before his accident/seizure

Meh, I don't blame 88toon, Jall was trashing his comment about the PS, he deserved to be smacked, no matter how he admitted he was mistaken.

I just looked into it a bit and it turns out the Raiders did cut Tyler Wilson last year. But then it's the Raiders, so yea.

I wonder if the Jets would still have picked him there if they knew about his problems with seizures.

Was there a report that he has a history of seizures? I thought it was a one time thing?

Eh, thought it was a bit excessive considering how fast it was straightened out. I'm all for a good smacking but things seem a bit over aggressive lately

I read somewhere doctors said could/might happen again, Not sure I saw anywhere he had a "History".

That being said, If he's not 100% healthy to start the year I'm not sure how he endures the full season. I already assumed he was going to have a hard enough time staying healthy just based on his size, Let alone any other medical conditions he's having.

He hasn't done a whole lot this preseason to justify his spot? He has 1 catch for 1 yard, and caught 5 punts ( 2 returns 5.5 avg ). I wouldn't be surprised by stashing him on the PS and let him put on some bulk and learn the NFL game a bit.

    Thoughts?

I think there's more of a chance of Stephen Hill clearing waivers than this guy.

He's as good as gone on the practice squad.

While he hasn't shown much in the preseason in terms of making the team he hasn't given us any reason to be cut like chya boy.

Meaning, In your opinion, he wouldn't clear waivers?

Not sure how this works, Someone who contributed less somehow has given more of a reason to stick on the team? Regardless this will all be cleared up by Saturday night. ( likely Thursday night ). It would cost the team 1$ mil to cut hill who has been a larger part of the offense in the preseason.

Lol @ "My Boy" - Hatred for Hill is so strong on this board, Haha. I wonder if people would respect my opinion more if I changed my avatar or started blasting everyone in Green and White. ;)

Ajitator, I think that people would respect your opinion more if less than 80% of your posts were made defending Stephen Hill.
