So much for that argument. CMP ATT YDS CMP% AVG LNG TD INT RAT 7 9 85 77.8 9.44 25 0 0 106.0 Against Steelers' 1st team D.
The 2 incompletions were drops too. The first was a good pass that should have been caught. The second was a little behind the WR who caught initially caught it but hat it dislodged from a hit.
Last I checked he was not playing the starting D. He played in the third quarter after all the starters were done. In fact, even his offense was second string. Edit: I stand corrected. It was Pitts first team D.
Some teams just can't nail down one side of the ball. The Saints have that offensive mind, but the D just can't get there. It's the same with the Packers. Us? We can work wonders without much talent on defense if we had to, but we just don't have that offensive mastermind to give us a top 10 offense. It wouldn't surprise me if Mark ended up starting in due time for Philly, and having a fine career. If that does indeed happen, you can bet your bottom dollar the board will blow up with how we should have kept him, when in reality, his career took the turn BECAUSE he left here.
the preseason for Mark Sanchez does not mean shit. Nothing he does means shit until he actually puts it together and plays like a complete QB in a real game, something he has failed to do for his entire NFL career.
Those teams won despite Mark not because of him. You know what, f this I'm not getting into that discussion, have fun in your circle jerk with Hobbes and junc.
Hey now, leave the great HOF Eddie out of this. RIP And Soxxx what the fuck man with that sig, it is god awful. Lose a bet?
I wish him well. Philly is the perfect situation for him to be in. He's playing in a high tempo offense, and Mark was always good for us in the two minute drill. He's basically doing that the entire time he's out there now under Kelly's offense. He doesn't have time to think about bad plays, cause he's right back to the line of scrimmage to run the next play. We were always trying to slow the game down on offense in order to control the clock. That gave him too much time in-between plays, and he would psych himself out thinking about what he did wrong. He really is in the best place possible to kick start his career back up. I don't wish injury on Foles, but I'd love to see Mark play in the regular season. There's no reason to bash him now that he's gone, he could never have gotten his career back on track playing for the Jets. Mark leaving the Jets was the best thing for all involved parties, and now both he and the Jets are better because of it.
No I am moving to Australia in my later life. The coke? no i just woke up one day and decided that I wanted that as my avatar and signature.
you are wise to stay away from that discussion when making such foolish statements that we won in spite of him.
He's looking good. He's in a great situation in Philly. Great offensive system and pretty damn good weapons. The best thing for Mark was to get out of NY, in my opinion it wasnt going to work here.
It could have worked here with Mornhinweg and appropriate receivers but we never got to see it happen because of Rex putting him in that game, and Idzik cutting him and not resigning him.
I suppose there is a chance, but I doubt it. Let him shine in a QB friendly offense (for now). Playing like this will raise his confidence and it might be able to get a starting position in the next couple years.
