On the aviation kinda kick what about something that is traditional American aircraft. Circa 1943. Use our traditional green and white and get some nostalgia working. More like when our aircrafts were doing actual good, instead of drone attacks. Can you imagine one of these on a helmet?

The old name of the Washington Wizards was the Baltimore Bullets. Some of you may be old enough to remember why the name change happened. Putting Warbirds on a football helmet would make the "Redskin" issue look like romper room shit.

Ah, as long as you look at it with nostalgia I don't think its the same issue. I can't believe we had commercial Jets in mind when the team was founded. Nobody is intimated by a 747 The drone on a helmet oh yeah, bad taste, but so isn't everything done with the military post WWII.
I can't believe that any fan who suffered through the 80s and 90s would ever want to see that uniform ever again. That uniform just looks like failure to me. It is also pretty amateurish, if you look at it. Just totally template with "Jets" stenciled on the helmet.
I like the Kelly Green unis of the '80s better than the Forest Green and unis of other decades, and like the sleek Jets with an actual Jet over the name on the helmet. I think the one with "Jets" inside the football looks dumb.
