Yeah, I'm not sure if it's just media fear-mongering, but ISIS is described as well organized, with funding and a trained "army." I don't think they're a threat against the U.S. (and allies') militaries, but clearly, ISIS is capable of very bad shit. I don't strongly advocate bombs as the answer to things, but there's no negotiating with these animals. You don't get to just arbitrarily kill innocent Americans because it fits your cause. Something needs to be done about that.
Even Al Qaeda has disavowed ISIS, they dont like ISIS at all...Can you imagine the fucking Al Qaeda having beef with how ISIS conducts business?
I feel for the families of the victims... Not just the man who was just beheaded, but the families of the soldiers who helped "secure" Iraq just so these scumbags could show up and kick down the house of cards. Our country failed these victims. Fuck ISIS. Make this right.
Drones, maybe some air strikes (U.S. pilots love any action they can get). That should be all it takes to keep this band at bay. I have a hard time believing these guys are organized or maintain large funding. What do they build? What do they create? What do they trade? It sounds like just about every Nation surrounding them is against them Iran, Syria, Iraq (pussys that they are letting the US equipment fall to ISIS freely), Jordan, "Kurdistan", Saudi's they all want ISIS dead. Stop funding the Middle East, just stop! All we do is support the next fucking radical Islam group over there. Bring the money back to U.S. soil; invest it here.
They have oil and are selling it ... $1 to $3 million a day worth. http://www.businessinsider.com/whats-needed-to-eliminate-isis-2014-8
That is interesting. Still firm on drones and air strikes only. It seems every border of Isis is at war. Let them all kill each other. As "powerful" as Isis is they seem to be having difficulty capturing Baghdad and gaining ground on the Kurds or Iranians or Jordanians, or the Syrians or the saudi's. Let them all kill each other; it's not for USA. Bomb 'em out from above. Test the new drones. Enough with the Middle East. Bring the money home.
Baghdad and the Kurds were helped by the US or it could have been a different story. I'm all for vaporizing the entire middle east and then taking our money home.
Looks like we tried a rescue mission in Syria but sadly it failed. Looks like the second hostage is going to die. We did 14 air strikes today.
What's really disturbing is that they used what look to be a little pocket knife. I have absolutely no interest in watching the video though. That image is enough for me.
Well funded and well trained. Also their latest message pretty much confirms they have sleepers already here. All these terror groups always have some nice little doom quote but these guys might be legit, especially if they manage to even take portions of Baghdad.
Radicals ain't too hard to find. These guys don't make anything. All there borders are enemies. They have no planes, they have no navy. They sell oil, but who will trade food with them? Test the drones, practice airstrikes.
Who is going to fight this war? Who are we going to send over there to be maimed and killed this time? And for what? I think we should send Bush, Chaney and the rest of the Neocon bastards that senselessly started this whole mess over there to fight this time instead of our young men and women.
Our govt doesn't give a fuckin shit. We let people die in Benghazi for politics the pres is a radical Muslim himself he probably a fan of ISIS, our county is going down the shittier from within, the govt more likely to use the drones on us than them./rant
Our invasion forces will capture a handful of "ISIS" militants and they will disappear from media attention. Then "ISIS" will become angry and move operations into Syria. That's when our country will "get angry" and send real forces to take control. And some shred of evidence will put Assad in the crosshairs. It will at first seem like the strongest evidence you will ever find, and even after evidence has been proven to the contrary, you will likely still support our own rogue nation.
