A friend of the cop said that Brown was rushing the cop.

The most indicative are wounds on the right arm. Those are not defensive wounds. If they were, the entry point would be on the back of the arm. Think about it this way: if the victim positions his arm in a protective gesture, the bullet would him his tricep, not bicep.
As drawn, the victim was facing the shooter. But yes, forensic report can be falsified indeed.

Good point, but you are also both making your own decisions on the angle of the bullets. Entry point forensic drawings don't give you that info.

I'm not saying you are wrong, but you can not state what is a defensive wound without knowing angle and using that to decipher sequence.

101GG101 is right, the sequence is important.

The key wound is the one on top of the head. It's critical to determining what try happened. Victim's height is such that this wound had to occur when his head was lowered. There are two possibilities here: either victim was rushing the shooter, or he was already on the ground at the time the shot was taken.

The key evidence would be the trajectory of the bullet through the body. If the bullet after entering the temple moved toward the oral cavity, the victim was already on the ground. If the bullet moved toward the neck, parallel to the spine, the victim was either standing or bending.

You are deciding the key wound without knowing the exit or trajectory, it's impossible to know the key wound without that info. That could have been a shot that exited his skull without damaging the parts of his brain that would allow him to attack.

Hell, it could have been that shot (a possible graze) that caused him to attack. Whether intentional or otherwise.

Agree 100%, trajectory and sequence are critical.
I find it interesting that there are no exit wounds. 300 lbs is a lot of flesh to go through, but cop nowadays rarely use anything less than 9 mm and there should be exit wounds, at least on the arms. If I were victim'a layer, I'd question forensic findings based on absence of exit wound on the arms.

Byz, trajectory is super important. The wound on the head is very curious. If I was doing autopsy, that's the one I'd pay special attention to.

My worst thought is the kid got shot in the head twice to start things off - then the cop in order to show "struggle" shot 4 more bullets onto the kid's arm.

Crazy thought but who really knows. The sequence / trajectory is everything to this case as you guys said.

Several witnesses said that Brown stopped running after being hit by the second bullet and turned around and raised his arms asking Wilson to stop shooting. The witnesses said 4 further bullets followed including two that hit Brown in the head. The wounds in his right arm could be when he was raising his hands.

It's not remotely clear how many bullets were actually fired. Several of the wounds on the right arm could have been caused by a single bullet depending on the angle of the arm. The independent medical examiner also found evidence that multiple woulds were caused by a single bullet pin-balling around in the victim's body.

The St Louis County autopsy found that six to 8 shots had been fired at Brown but they wouldn't confirm any of the wounds but those to the head and chest.

I can't believe that the state allowed an independent medical examiner to conduct the preliminary autopsy. Michael Baden who did the autopsy on the body at the behest of the family says he found and removed 3 bullets during the course of the autopsy. If he wasn't working in some capacity for the city or state the chain of evidence has now been compromised.

Only 3 bullets were recovered during the autopsy. That means that 3 other bullets exited, possibly by ricocheting, or that fewer shots were fired, or that the other shots just missed.

Something else to think about. Has it been determined if there was PCP or anything else in Browns system?

Also, what was the recent mental state of the cop. Was he going through anything? Because its not like someone would just throw their career away and risk conviction unless they either felt there were being attacked,or were mentally unstable. I know everyone likes to think that cops play duck hunt in black neighborhoods, but its not always the case.

Br4d, you're right. Wounds on the arms can be explained if victim had his arms up.

Because the defense will eliminate any potential juror that might exhibit "bias" against his client. "Bias" being code for black. Any Attorney worth a damn would do the same thing. In addition, Missouri isn't exactly a liberal bastion. There are places in Missouri that black people should never find themselves ever. Don't think for a second anyone from Ferguson would be on the jury should a trial take place. There will most likely be a change of venue since they'll state he won't get a "fair trial" in Ferguson. The defense will everything in its power to whitewash the jury with perhaps a token Asian just for effect and move the trial to a predominately white area.

With all the negative images and press coverage, the jury pool is already tainted. Unless things do a complete 180, the protesters of Ferguson, including responsible Black People who are not rioting will be lumped into one big basket and labeled "animals". Sadly, in some minds that makes shooting an unarmed kid right. It's happened before, and it will happen again.

I heard there might be video evidence but apparently the individual(s) who have it dont want to release it because of fear (I dont blame em).
