Louisville Slugger hits home run...(don't know how to edit the title).
The kid is definitely living up to his name. He's a playmaker. I hope he can stay healthy and have a long career with the Jets. Seems As though he'll be our first defensive back drafted since Revis to play at an elite level.

And he had a flue man i just hope he starts next game he is head and shoulders the best safety in our team not knocking on landry but he is past his prime , and the others dont have the range to play the position. We needed someone like this , supposing Dee steps up and Allen is back to SS/FS we are 1 player away from a top notch secondary imo.

Lets hope that the Hitter doesn't get hurt while hitting.. He can't help us if he's on the D/L or IRL.

Pryor was who I wanted before the draft, hopefully last night was just the beginning.

Have you ever coached? Coaches tell players you play the way you practice. When we see our players practice hard, and execute game plans we get excited. So I do understand your position but I truly believe any practice is a glimpse of how your team will play games.

Oh I think there will be plenty of praise for the regular season...I don't think we'll run out if we praise his efforts during pre-season. But if we do we can take some of the praise you got for graduating 1st grade at the age of 12 and give some to Pryor. It's covered bro.

Pryor looked liked Troy Polamalu out there in and around that box. That's great but in order for this defense to take the next step he needs to look more like Earl Thomas. I'm pretty sure we were at the very top of the rushing defensive rankings last year; I think we're good there. We need a safety to provide some help over the top for those suspect CBs.

I've been an assistant coach for basketball for 5 years (not anymore). I'm just not impressed in regards to him making plays against 2s and 3s. I want to see him against starters.

I saw Pryor breakup at least one probable completion with a devastating hit. That's more than just run defense last I checked.

Too early to tell one way or the other but I don't get why people assume he's just a box safety.

Thank you sweet little 8.6 lb baby Jesus for not letting me post in August on this thread. Our (SHOULD HAVE SELECTED) first pick plays great for the Saints, and we just have another player on the bench with dredds.

He helped give Antonio Allen a concussion, does that count?

He injured David Harris too didn't he? Maybe he's color-blind like Vinny was.

The accolades were premature and so is the criticism. This kid has potential and looks like an upgrade to Landry. We should know in '15--I'd bet on him.

What's the point of dredging up threads like these? To embarrass a poster excited about one of our players? It's very classless.

Pryor is a rookie safety. It's not an easy position to come in and play at high level right away. I think he'll be at the very least an average player and has plenty of time to grow.
