For all the flack Geno will possibly get, Eli Manning just finished 1/7 for 6 yards vs IND. Eli Manning learning a brand new offense vs this Jets secondary for almost 3 quarters.....everybody getting their popcorn ready?
Very good day for Geno. I liked that he used his legs to convert big first downs twice. Looked comfortable in the pocket and confident in his throws. He had the one miscommunication with Nelson but that'll happen in the preseason.
I've seen this forum and the NY Media last year, they will tear Geno up. Maybe not anywhere near the deserving thrashing the secondary deserves but he will get one.
Aside from the fighting, the pass rush was the most disappointing thing about this game so far (1s vs 1s). Andy Dalton sat back there all day and picked apart our secondary
EJ Manuel and the Bills first team offense have no TDs yet. And Geno is the worst starter in the league....lmao
I think what Dalton did to us tonight was the best thing that could've happened. Idzik has been penny pinching on corners and trying to solve the problem in house, but now that he saw a display like THAT he's sure to go get somebody. It would've been worse if the bandaid corners played alright but not great and Idzik got complacent with them and they burned us down the road.
Geno is not even the worst starter in NY. There may be two guys that have him beat on that this year with the way things are looking.

I thought about this same things myself. I hope something will be done. But we also have to remember Milliner will be back....and I think he will play well this year.
The worry is Eli Manning has another dud game trying to learn McAdoo's offense and it gives us the false impression that the Jets secondary did well vs OBJr, Cruz and Randle.
Now if this secondary lets Mark Sanchez throw at them at will by game 4, they should just retire and call it quits. Mark's been nice for the 1st 2 preseason games for Philly but he's coming to show something that game as silly as it sounds lol.
They just showed NYJ-CIN highlights on NFL network. They showed Daltons TD pass and said he was perfect. Then they said "Geno?" Showed his 1 INT "Not so perfect" and that was all that was said or shown. If Vick scores a TD, I guarantee they will just replay Genos INT and Vicks TD over and over and over just to stir the pot.
