While I agree with most of your post, in regards to this comparison, it helps that Geno and Vick had a preexisting relationship (Vick reached out to him while he was still in college), while Sanchez and Tebow didn't, and that Vick has been more vocal about it being Geno's job than management has been.
Masses of faggot Tebow fans acting like they know more than everyone that thinks Tebow sucks was one of the low lights of my personal Jets fandom. Man I hated those guys.
And now they are relegated to wondering if Saint Tim is only wearing underwear under that broadcast desk. That was such a bunch of near-stalkers. I guess it takes a rare breed to worship one player.
When you see articles like this it's hard not to root for Geno Smith - I just hope it translates on the field.
Kudos to Geno for the extracurricular work. Shame on me for thinking a head coach should know what his starting qb is doing to improve on a his than stellar rookie season performance. Betcha Bellicheck knows when Brady farts.
You are right, I don't read scouting reports, I read the NY media and that's what I was referring to. White guys work hard and and are gym rats, black guys are very athletic, and these sayings come from white guys. Admit it and move on, its not a racist discussion, its a media one. Go Jets
To paraphrase something a wise man said recently..."This says a lot about you, and nothing about me, and A lot about you." OK....I lied. He ain't that wise.
This was a good thread until the usual b/s came out from posters who seem to mouth-off to build up their count (and ego). It went off thread quickly including posts about Tebow. The best comment covered the fact that the more he watches defensive play from different coaches, the better he is able to recognize the defensive action...which should lead to quicker reactions and hopefully more success.
Very impressed. Taking the game seriously instead of blowing it off as chore is a very welcomed change here in regard to the QB spot.
No, it didn't work with Sanchez, but he still watches the videos he made with Sanchez, Michelle, and himself.
One from Serby at the Post, one from Canfora at CBSSports.com, one from the Daily News who quoted Rex and others from various sources. Last I checked Serby, Canfora and Rex were white. Admit it, you were wrong.
Ehh same stories came out about Sanchez in the first two years. Im sure there are a lot of guys that are film rats and strive to get better. Good or bad Manish's articles dont tell us anything new. Same story different names.
It's great and all that. but my question is why didn't Rex or Mornhinweg think of that and assign Geno to do it? I've no concerns about Geno's desire and work ethic and knew he'd put in the necessary work.
