http://www.newyorkjets.com/news/art...Accident/c075d2fc-987c-4dae-aaba-e6f7bb53f9ee Fourth-round rookie Jalen Saunders, who is working both at wide receiver and punt returner for the Jets, was involved in a single-car accident this morning on his way to the Atlantic Health Jets Training Center. Saunders was taken to a hospital and is being monitored there as a precaution. He will not travel to Cincinnati with the team and is out for Saturday night's game against the Bengals at Paul Brown Stadium. Hope he is ok. Damn this rookie class dropping like flies
I hope he's okay! Sounds like it wasn't a serious accident and hopefully he didn't get hurt at all. A few months ago on the Jets app they posted a video of Eric Allen riding with Coples, and I was surprised and concerned to see that Coples doesn't wear his seatbelt.
well usually a trip to the hospital after a car accident, means it's more than minor. Particularly for someone who's job requirement is being slammed to the ground by other big, fast men. Hopefully it's just precautionary protocol
Not sure how it's usually handled but the last car accident I was in I was taken in an ambulance to the hospital because I had a cut on my hand. There was no other injury.
Fuck wearing a seat belt. We just voted out a congressman who wanted to raise the fine from $10 to $100 for not wearing a seat belt. Until they put seat belts on motorcycles I am not wearing one in my car. Makes just as much sense. In fact if seat belts worked, they would put them on public school buses. Like everything else it is a money grab.
Hard to tell if you have already suffered a traumatic brain injury or if one is coming your way. Regardless: good luck!
