Geezuz. It was a play on his work. I was going to lead with "Robin Williams has joined the Society" which would have been a play on his movie The Dead Poet's Society" (get it, he's dead, hence he joined the Dead Poet's Society?). But since this is primarily a football forum, I went with a play on the injury list designation as "Doubtful" because (i) he was once in a movie called "Mrs. Doubtfire" and (ii) the official NFL injury list does not have a designation "Deceased". I apologize for my subtlety, I was trying to bring a bit of whimsy to an otherwise awful news story. _
If it was an injury report, he would be listed as OUT (Dead). Seriously though, no need to be upset. I just didn't get it. A simple response was fine. Thanks. Mrs. Doubtfire and Dead Poet's Society are great movies.
Doubtfire and doubtful. Wow that is just so incredibly brilliant. Such amazing wordplay despite using incorrect meanings of words, negating the point of wordplay in the first place, but yeah, aside from that it was great. You insensitive prick.
I was at work yesterday and naturally we were talking about Robin William. My coworker looked at us and said that he didn't believe he was really dead. When I asked him why he looked at a and said, "In the jungle you must wait until the dice roll 5 or 8."
They found him hanging by his belt in the doorway. They said he was in a seated position which meant that he must have REALLY wanted to go because he convinced himself not to touch the floor when he could have easily stopped it. His mind must have been in a very dark place. He also attempted to cut himself before he decided to hang himself. Cut his wrists with a pocket knife but couldn't get deep enough, so he decided to use a belt and hang. So sad man.
Yeah, no reason to feel bad for a guy suffering such severe depression that he believed killing himself was the best relief. Nothing sad about that.
I haven't read about toxicology reports. Sleeping pills make death by many methods easier. And they aren't even that hard to come by.
