It's a tough blow but if Dee is fine, we'll be fine. Let's not all act like our season relied on the health of McDougle.

Every team out there is suffering serious injuries, this is part of the game. It could have been way worse than McDougle.

This is a kick to the groin. Was looking forward to seeing McDougle win that second spot.

Looking like Wilson and Walls/Patterson starting CB's for week one.

    I
Devastating news. I was super hi on MDougle. I don't think this injury has anything to do with fragility. ACLs are too common of an occurrence in football unfortunately, and it happens to many, many players with no injury records at all.
This is really going to blow for the Jets and will force us into some potential trading moves to strengthen the CB position.
I wish the kid a speedy recovery and a long healthy career.

    Completely agreed.

If Dee avoided a major injury then we got off easy here. Obviously you don't want anyone injured but you much rather lose your 3rd/4th string player over a 1st stringer.

This all falls in Idzik's hands now. He needs to make a move at cornerback. If he can trade for someone, we will be fine as long as Milliner is OK.

I like Wilson and I sometimes feel he gets more hate than he deserves. But if he wins the number 2 CB spot I hope he at least replicates his 2012 performance when he had to play on the outside.

Not really getting off easy.... getting off easy would be no injuries at all yet we seem to have people getting hurt left and right. I get realistically people get hurt but this is getting border line unfair

#Jets believe CB Dee Milliner suffered a high-ankle sprain, per source. Out a few weeks. He thought it was broken, but tests show a sprain

Can't expect to not have injuries. Just gotta hope they don't happen to your best players.

Unfair would be Milliner out for the season. If that happens then we could all panic. I was hopeful for McDougale but our season will in a likelihood won't be affected too much from losing him.

Milliner is the key here obviously.

would be sooooooo down to get a morris claiborne(high upside) or Jonathan Joseph(very proven vet) as some posters have mentioned above. once dee came back if we had one of those two guys starting next to him I would be ok with it i think. Very much opposed to kyle wilson starting this year

Look at the bright side, at least Milliner didn't break or tear anything. Hopefully he can come back ready to play. We r gonna need him

He will be listed as questionable for week 1. Sucks he is going to miss the rest of preseason though
