Both with ankle injuries I think. McDougle's seems more serious as he was carted off the field. I was hoping to see more of him and less of Patterson.
Ok, now I'm pissed. I love what Idzik is doing and I think he's the perfect man for the job, but missing out on corners in the offseason is killing us now.
I didn't say that. The point is, had he signed another corner, we wouldn't be in the shape we are in now. Patterson came out the other night and looked awful. He then goes and gets injured. We are left with a second year corner who seems to be ready to break out. Now he goes out and get injured. Had we signed someone in the offseason, we'd have a solid to very good corner left on the field. Now our starting corners are Lankster and Walls.
It might look worse than what it is. With a foot injury, any little tweek can make it nearly impossible to stand on. Rolling an ankle can feel like the end of the world. Fingers crossed it's not as bad as it looks.
the injures were to milllner and mcdougal(sp) during drills with the starters. there is no reason to believe it wouldn't have been millner and favorite f.a. cb not signed getting injured . than we would be looking at mcdougal and walls/lankster and would still be panicking over the current state of the cb depth chrt
This is so true. I used to roll my ankle about once a month when I played basketball in high school. Painful as hell and I'd be out for at least a quarter but then it'd come back after I iced it and I'd usually get back in the game in the 4th quarter. At some point I learned that keeping my potassium level up was key to having that not happen and no more rolled ankles after that.
If you think Wilson is bad just wait till you see asante Samuel in a rex ryan defense. I rather have a trashcan out there than that tackle whiffin whimp.
