    Nice quick throw.

Det had great containment on the designed run. He's not going to be able to outrun folks like he did in college.

In his division hes doomed. I would feel bad for him if he wasn't a complete jackass outside the football field

Anyone questioning Manziel's arm is crazy. He's throwing bullets and extremely accurate. Hitting guys in the hands in stride. 2 big drops, one an ok throw and one PERFECTLY placed. Right through the receiver's hands.

And he's making Manziel type plays scrambling, making first downs, throwing on the run.

I know it's early but he looks the opposite of a confused rookie. He'll probably throw a pic now!

Cant believe that rat Petine is going to end up with a decent QB in year one.

It's funny but Hoyer is no slouch himself.

I dont mind seeing a franchise like the Browns have success. Hopefully they can beat up on Pittsburgh.

Are you guys watching the same game I am? Manziel looks terrible IMO. He looks uncomfortable in the pocket, and looks to run on almost every play. Looks like he has no idea what he's doing out there.

Being a Bills fan, isn't it more likely that you don't know what a good qb looks like?

I know his stats weren't good, but Terrance West looks like he'll be a really good player.

You are nuts. Guy looked totally in control, was extremely decisive whilst throwing (very accurately) and ran when he needed to after his pocket broke down.

I didn't see the hype either with Manziel. I saw a guy who missed some pretty simple throws and panicked very easily. He relied too much on his legs.

There were many awesome throws and with some good zip on them, but I thought Hoyer looked much better. As of now, that's Hoyers job to lose.

I just watched the highlights again and he stares down receivers BAD. There were a couple times where he took off running after just watching one receiver the entire time. Just as many are saying, he did good but no where near enough to take the starting role.

It was quite interesting to see that he won't be able to run trough defenses like in college the closing speed of the defense was very quick and lions aren't even a superior defense. He can still be good but he won't last if he does like last night trying to get that first down even if it means to stuff it like a fullback.

Too funny the haters already coming out. He hit almost every throw on the button and even the best miss a throw or two. And other than his first rushing attempt, he ran through defenses like at A & M, just won't be getting the long gainers because he's understanding that he needs to take the slide to not get hit.

I'm not a hater at all lol I love Manziel and am hoping like hell he wins the starting job. You can't sit here and say he played awesome yesterday lol he just didn't

He struggled in the pocket, stared down receivers, missed a couple targets, and left the pocket sooner than need be. Doesn't mean he didn't do well, but let's not get ahead of ourselves here.

Didn't say he played awesome but he hit nearly every throw on the exact spot it had to be and he was obviously throwing to his first read to get comfortable with the speed of the game.

The last drop by Snead was an exceptional throw and the darts he threw across the middle were perfectly thrown. Looked more comfortable than a lot of 2nd and 3rd year QBs. And he left the pocket at opportune times and but for that one run had positive plays on all his other runs. The speed of the game us not above him.
