Thought this was funny. Two videos in the link where Cimini is at the podium and Rex asks him a couple questions. One of the funniest parts is at the end of the first video when Cimini asks something like if there was any ridiculous questions you get and Rex responds "yeah usually from manish" and then Cimini makes a joke saying he agrees.

Typical Rex speak though, but I found it funny. Also nice to see how friendly everyone is kind of.

That was fun to see. I think Rex is trying to get on the good side of media. He's gonna need it this season.

Like watching Bush Jr. at a press conference.

I was wondering why the official site canned the live feed of the presser today. Not that their web team is worth a diseased dog turd, but still.

Since everyone always rags on Cimini for hating the team he covers... when asked about "best story covered/thing he enjoyed most" during his tenure to this point, Rich not surprisingly mentions a couple of negatives: the saga of top secret Tebow/Wildcat practices in 2012, and the 1-15 season, among others.

In all seriousness, though, this seemed like a lot of fun for everyone, so it was an enjoyable watch. A few years removed from the 2012 debacle, it's fun to see Rex recognize how much of a joke the top secret Tebow/Wildcat practices were when Cimini brings them up.

A friend of mine explained the difference between New York and California to me the other day. In Cali when they say "love you!" They mean I hate you. In New York when they say "I hate you!" They mean I love you.

Cimini writes a lot of negative crap....but you can tell he wants the team to succeed. He's been covering the team for 26 years...he may not be an outspoken fan...but for different reasons he still has a connection to the team.

Didn't hear or see a thing but Jeane Coakley (she'd get it).

That was definitely entertaining. Of course Cimini's favorite year was the 1-15 year. No surprise there.

With all the complaining here about certain reporters, are there actually people who believe they should act like fans?

According to Kimberley Martin (Newsday Jets Beat Writer) Rex has reporters up at the podium again, Manish and Brian Costello.

I'll post the link once the video is up. Should be fun. Picture below is from Kim's twitter
