the Raiders wanted him or Schaub, they were able to work out a deal for Schaub. had mark been a FA day 1 he'd be starting in Oakland.
Rivers/cutler/Stafford/Romoe/Flacco would not be handed starting jobs. all have had more talent around them and only Flacco has helped his team get further.
No not with Sanchez coming off a major shoulder injury. Now if he's as good as you claim and since you think he's better than Schaub why didn't Oakland snatch him up?
You missed your OWN point and you don't even know how. Par for the course. YOU compared him to Manning--never junc and never anyone else here. That's what children do, they take an extreme to try and prove something on the margins. Shouldn't you be in Social Studies? It's 7th period. _
Like I said to JStokes, you are entitled to your opinion. Obviously neither of us cant be proven right or wrong. I just think you happen to be wrong on this one. Looking forward to the game tomorrow, hopefully the offense shows a sign of light that we havent seen in a few years.
That's bullshit. Unless you are an alltime great like Manning--no one is plunking down starters money and banking on a player to be a starter after (i) major shoulder surgery and (ii) not playing in a full year. Stop being silly. _
You are entitled to your opinion, no matter how many childish things you put in your posts. Agree to disagree. Thanks
You can agree to disagree all you want. No one is paying starter money and installing an NFL starting QB to someone who has (i) just had major SHOULDER surgery and (ii) missed an entire year of playing. Not childish, just pointing out the reality. _
Fair enough bud, I think you are incorrect. It's no big deal. People disagree on stuff all the time on this website. Hopefully tomorrow no one is discussing this, and we are instead discussing how good the Jets look in the early season.
he wasn't available, had he been available day 1 of FA he'd be a Raider. I have watched those guys(besides Flacco) do less w/ more their entire careers. fantasy #s don't impress me, make big plays when it counts and those guys don't do that which is why combined Rivers/Cutler/Stafford/Romo have just 2 more playoff wins than Mark despite more talent around them and playing 23 more seasons than Mark.
I understand that, which is partially why I wanted to avoid this discussion. They always descend into that same discussion that everyone has been having since 2010. As much as I enjoy reading your posts I wholeheartadly disagree with you regarding Mark. I'm not arguing their playoff success, Mark has had some decent playoff success. The best games I've ever watched were with him at QB. I hope he succeeds wherever he goes, he is one of the classiest guys out there. Having said that, if Rivers or Romo (Rivers specifically) had season ending surgery tomorrow and had to miss the season, they would be starting next year. Hell, if Geno sucks, they could be starting for the Jets. They could start on a number of teams, and I believe people would take a shot on them.
He became available and since he's better than Matt Schaub (according to you) they could've signed Mark and had an open competition between the two. Or they could've flat out started him over Schaub since Mark is better according to you.
they valued the 2 similarly, it made no sense to bring Mark in after they got Schaub especially since they were planning on drafting a QB. Can we be realistic please?
I understand that Mark Sanchez will likely never see the field as a full time starter again unless the real QB is Injured
