So no one really saw what the point of the end credit scene was? I don't want to spoil it but it's instrumental to the whole Thanos / Infinity Gems.
You've made exactly 1 post in this thread that wasn't about Howard the Duck, which was made 8 years before you have said you were born.
***MAJOR SPOILERS - ESPECIALLY IF YOU DID NOT SEE THOR 2*** At the end of Thor 2 - at the Collector's home-base you will see a closed Cocoon in the back-ground. Fast forward to Guardians of the Galaxy end scene. The same Cocoon was in the background next to Howard the Duck (whom at first distracted me but then I saw the Cocoon). The Cocoon was opened and it appeared the host left. The person in that cocoon was ... Adam Warlock - who plays a crucial role in the Infinity Gems.
What does that have to do with anything? Howard the Duck is in the movie, I was not born in 1994 if that is why you are trying to say. I was actually born in
And again you are going off topic in order to stir up drama, this is the second time now in the past week you have done this in order to carry out your own personal agenda.
Yeah, I definitely did not notice any of that. You must have a quick eye! Thanks for the info. The duck was pretty distracting. I am trying to remember The Dark World bonus scene but can't. I'll watch it again later.
I saw it twice (once with my co-workers and once with my nephew) so maybe it wasn't the quick eyes - I just had an opportunity to see it twice I love these movies - just brings me back to a kid again reading the comics and such.
Might go see it tonite. This isn't Wifey's kinda movie anyways and I won't have to share the popcorn..
Holy shit thanks! I completely missed that! I honestly just thought that Marvel was trolling the world with that one, since everyone puts so much importance on every post-credit scene they ever do now. That was some pretty ingenious slight-of-hand.
Yeah Marvel trolled the shit out of people - it took me the 2nd time to notice it. The MCU is getting very interesting. It's going to be hilarious when Marvel's GOTG with a bunch of "no-namers" completely destroys Amazing Spiderman 2 in the Box Office. Marvel is on top of the world right now. Now just give me my Doctor Strange movie ... hopefully the villain from the movie Gladiator takes the role.
No it's insane what Marvel has done. And there's really no end in sight. And you really can't even make the argument that people are gonna get sick of superhero movies, because most of these are characters that have been going for 60 years strong with endless source material. They keep getting better actors, better directors, and until they stop make the GDP's of small countries at the box office - which they won't - it could be 60 more.
Saw the movie tonite. Not bad at all. Enjoyed it and the trip down memory lane with the background music. That was the stuff I grew up on so it was good to hear it again. Between this movie and Columbiana, Zoe Zaldana is becoming quite the action heroine. I think the Racoon may have stolen the movie and Groot was just great! Funny seeing Howard the Duck after all these years too. Just good entertainment. Now if they do a Doctor Strange movie, count me in!!
I agree - the use of CGI has improved in each movie, the battle physics have gotten better (Compare Winter Solider to any of the first MCU movies). If Marvel can get the rights to Doctor Doom and Galactus, then Marvel will rule the movie world - the one kink in Marvel's armor are the villains.
Some people are calling The Guardians of the Galaxy the best Marvel Universe movie. I disagree, but here is my list: 1. The Avengers 2. Iron Man 3. Captain America: The Winter Solider 4. Guardians of the Galaxy 5. Thor 6. Iron Man 2 7. Thor: The Dark World 8. Iron Man 3 9. Captain America: The First Avenger 10. The Incredible Hulk Out of the list, I really enjoyed the first eight. The first Captain was okay, not great and the Incredible Hulk was also okay, but don't ever really want to watch it again. How do you guys rank them?
