Decker, Kerley, and IMO Nelson are guaranteed to make the squad. Hill and Saunders are pretty good bets as well. With Evans possibly headed to the IR Salas, Ford, Enunwa are going to fight for the last 1-2 spots. I wouldn't mind keeping both Salas and Ford and trying to stash Enunwa on the practice squad, we drafted him for a reason. I pray we are done with the Clyde Gates experiment and don't see Hakim or Campbell having a chance
I'd much rather play it safe. The preseason is meaningless and if he gets another concussion this soon he could miss significant time or his career could be threatened. I just wonder if you said the same thing about Sanchez playing in the Giants preseason game last year. If it was a regular game or a different injury, I'd be with you, but in the first preseason game the 1st stringers usually only plays 1 qtr anyways. It's not like he's missing a huge amount of reps.
Nada, aside from a mention of him calling Vick "sir" once in OTAs. He's probably too small to lay the blocks in the pros that he was in college.

That is impossible. Hill sucks he can't catch and has no idea how to run routes. This is just Rex talking up his players. He is to loyal to his vets. How many years does Hill get he is already 23 for fuck sake.
The video is nice but I have a hard time getting too excited about a guy running 2 cherry picked routes against 1 shitty DB and no other defense on the field. I want to see Hill doing that shit in games.
You get excited that he is making progress and that he is not as shitty as some would like you to believe. He still has a lot to prove as a legit NFL WR and consistent threat.
If he's making progress it will show in games. Just my opinion. I do put some weight in preseason games so tomorrow we can start to see IMO.

A lot of Patriot fans I know are joking about how Sudfeld isn't going to do anything, because he didn't in the regular season last year. What's important to remember is the guy was an UDFA TE last year. They were expecting Gronk and got an UDFA with potential, so they were alright seeing him go. But now he's got another year in him and I'm excited to see how he improves.
