They're in the headlines!!!!! making business. They think people don't care about anything else besides how Geno and Vick are doing, Hill and Dee Milliner.

With a medium like Twitter, you can now complain to the writers yourself.

And they'll count the responses, just like a message board troll, which is really what they are.

Hill is the goat right now. If Geno was looking like shit in camp, it would be him, but he has played really well, and the NY media wouldn't dare report a whole bunch on things that are positive. Nope, it's much easier to focus on the guy that is struggling. Same deal when it comes to someone like Coples. From everything I have read, Coples came in to camp in great shape, and is playing extremely well. There's not a juicy story there.

When I say Greg Salas everyone says he sucks.
When I say Mohamed Wilkerson everyone says he's great,
When I say Jace Amaro everyone says rookie that could be really good.
When I say Stephen Hill though the opinions on him range from he's one of the worst 2nd round picks ever to the guy could still potentially be a top 30 receiver.

That's why everything right now is about him and why every drop and mistake is being scrutinized to the fullest. Decker could drop 3 balls in one day and no one would question him. Same with Kerley or Chris Johnson, because they have proven their worth in the past. Hill has one last chance to prove himself though so, all eyes are on him.

Green & White scrimmage at 7PM tonight! I wish SNY would televise it.

SNY's preseason coverage of the Jets needs to be better. I turn on the TV and flip through one of the MSG's and always see Giants training camp reports almost every day. Jets need more practice and scrimmage tv coverage.

'where the streets have no name…where the yogurt has no culchah…lol"

Misc: CB Ras-I Dowling, big in person. Rookie WR Quincy Enunwa (Nebraska, hip) finally in uniform - impressively built.
CB Jeremy Reeves is a small but fun-to-watch feisty little dude. Jalen Saunders is tiny as well.

    1. CBs run defense drill (pitch to RB around end, CB has to fight off block to make stop):
    - Enunwa lays the wood on Ellis Lankster.
    - Dee Milliner comes up to play off a lead block by Greg Salas (#17) to make a nice stop. Looked #1 athletic pick on that play, crowd reacts. Salas btw had a lot of balls thrown to him yesterday. Had one drop on an out pattern but he and Mike Vick hooked up on a pretty, crowd-pleasing 15 yard out on the left side. He's 'depth' at best but whose experience shows.

    - Jeremy Reeves comes up against lead blocker Stephrn Hill--ouch!--Hill lays the wood but Reeves comes back at him and continues after the whistle…funny David vs. Goliath scene. Kid's tiny but has moxie.

    2. WRs running double-move "Z" pass patterns. Most of the receivers looked a little gangly running these routes. The best, smoothest of the bunch were Kerley (not suprisingly) and Stephen Hill whose physical gifts so-o-o stand out in a crowd. He and Kerley were two who didn't seem to needlessly make slight unneccessary jumps while catching balls that weren't really highly thrown to begin with (by going that little bit 'airborne' YAC speed is lost).

    3. WRs vs DBs on 4-on-4 redzone drill: play of the drill was Kerley's catch while getting hammered by little Jeremy Reeves contesting for the ball (Reeves btw called for an early PI hit; pushups for all).

    5. Cumberland had a drop in the corner of the endzone on a falling backwards 'hi-pointing' attempt of a catch. Would've been a nice catch but he got both hands on it and should've caught it; confirned by MM having Vick throw Cumby extra same type of passes after practice.
    _________________________________________________

    Scrimmage (7-on7's and 11-on-11's):
    - Ivory around left end, Milliner doesn't contain, gain of 12 yards.
    - Geno screen to CJ2K misfires (more on that play later - look for this setup).

    - Vick bomb to Clyde Gates who had a step but who (just like Saalim Hakim the day before) stopped running through the ball and slowed up needlessly trying to hi-point the ball.

    - Kerley nice catch vs. Patterson from Geno on a curl pattern. Patterson had tight coverage and btw looks the part of a CB; doesn't look too bad.
    - S Landry nice defend against Jacoby Ford on a slant pattern.
    - Hill beats Ras-I Dwoling on a crossing pattern for 20 yards.

Play sequence - offense breaks out:

    - Salas runs out and up pattern on left side, covered….Geno slides to his left to buy time, Salas (showing 4-yr. experience) breaks pattern and comes back to Geno who rifles a 20-yard completion.
    - Chris Johnson off right tackle for 15 yards.
    - With Kerley in slot on left side) Geno looks left and comes back to CJ2K on the right with a screen that was set up nicely and gained good yardage.
    - Geno hits Hill in stride on a bomb down the left sideline over Milliner who is beat by 1 1/2 steps.

Later, the INT that's been mentioned about Nelson falling down actually involved a little bit of WR/DB feet getting caught up.

    - Vick with a pretty hookup with Jacoby Ford on an out pattern for 12 yards.
    - Later, Vick on a 3rd and 1, calls an audible and then fires a gorgeous, arching bomb down the right side to Jacoby Ford for a TD.

Kickers close it out. Folk with a 55-yarder.

WRs with a pair of handle-less 25 lb. slabs (with each player's number on them) have to carry them back with them into the locker room…..around the perimeter of the playing field, no cutting across the field. Shaquelle Evans (UCLA rookie) forgot his … it wasn't lost on the staff whom I'm sure asked him where he left them.

Sorry for the thread hi-jack: let's talk ham! :D

Thanks Brook, I took the response to "streaming" to mean the site.

Looks like it's only being streamed on the radio.

Would have liked to have visual footage too.

If hill doesn't pan out does 1. Decker 2. Kerley 3 Saunders 4. Nelson with kerley & Nelson occasionally switching depending on the situation sound good? I think geno can work with that

I don't see any rookie beating out Nelson.
