don't have time to read the whole thread just yet but reminds me of when Peyton Manning picked up the mic to address his "Idiot Kicker"

That was pretty funny and one of the best Pro-bowl moments of all time, But not related to our current situation and isn't even on the same level.

    Still funny though.

Demario having the best practice of his life after these comments...all I can say is we are witnessing the birth of our defensive leader.

Good for him. Everyone else loves to call the Jets out for talking too much, but I'm not sure it's ever come from in house in the Rex era. Long overdue.

Okay, wait just a second. Philly Stax was long gone by April 2013.

    Are you the avalanche?
    Do you know football?

He was on JI for years. Rather, he was banned multiple times from JI for years. We killed him over there.

    Big Rays fan, wasn't he?

He did love him his Rays, true.

But are we to believe JI had the same photoshops and duplicate user names from four years ago? Big coincidence.

Dozens of them. There are a few guys over there who are artistes. Some of the best shops ever.

He was DefenseWinsChampionships, DefenseWinsChampionships2, DWC, DWC2 and one or two others.

He finally left when guys were killing him unmercifully about his amazon GF pics on his MySpace (lol) page.

Philly Stax was his rap name, right? He uploaded some awful rap song and guys just shit all over it. Also some BS about being a semi-pro basketball player in Croatia or Albania or some other European league. And his gramma gave him that jersey.

    Too funny.

I hear what you are saying but the swagger talk was already public and Davis actually neutralized the 'bad press' that came from it. He did a very good job including a reference to himself as falling into that trap. Well done by Davis. Now if he continues to make veiled slights publicly without provocation in the future then that's bad. Also note that no one came back and said anything publicly about what Davis said. The message got through.

A leader in the locker room is always a plus.

I have no issue with DD and the way he is speaking to the media because that will inspire those around him to step up as well. It's a mindset and if you want to be great you don't stand a chance unless you have this type of mentality.

It is contagious an it will only benefit this team having someone like that in the locker room.

On the flip side, confidence is also contagious. Right now I feel like the perfect balance is taking place for this team.

You have players with extremely high confidence who are driven by being the best in this league and you have guys like DD who are making sure those same guys don't become complacent in their prep and goals towards becoming the best they can be.

I'm saying this with confidence. I'm a huge fan of Idzik and Rex and Co. I truly believe this team is being built the right way. I don't think I've ever felt that before.

Idzik seems to be bringing in the right guys for this team all over this roster. It's refreshing.
