It's a tough one and the last 2 years I would have said Broncos, but Revis on the Pats puts them over the edge IMO. They are going to be scary this year and it sucks. If the Pats somehow manage to sign a premium type WR (ie Dez Bryant), they will be easy superbowl favorites.

Denver is more talented, NE has the better QB and I think Revis will put them over the top.

Broncos. They have the best QB, and Mevi$ is a cunt.

    Pats.

Peyton Manning will finally show his age. I said this the last two years, but the more times I say it, the higher the odds I'll be correct.

Peyton manning has played better than Tom Brady the past 2 years, despite being 2 years older. He's also had the better overall career except he only has 1 title. Peyton's the better QB.

Brady was working with less last season (no one in there right would mind would have taken Brady's unit over Peytons unit). I think this year they are playing on more leveled ground. I think the Patriots do reach the Super Bowl in Arizona again, but again they get derailed.

IDK about better QB, but I sure did notice a lot of Peyton check downs, and short passes last year. It's not much of a surprise the Seahawks stuffed them every play. It got predictable, and IMO the beginning of the end for Peyton was that game. My vote goes for the Pats unfortunately.

The Seahawks had a viscous D. I haven't seen Peyton confused like that since they played the Jets in the playoffs a few years back, and even then the Jets didn't dominate him like the Seahawks did, not even close. Peytons passing attack worked great against almost every other team that year. I don't think teams figured it out, the Seahawks just owned.

The Seahawks had the players to take them apart. It was ultimately the whole "check down" offense that did the Broncos in. Thats why the Colts actually beat the Seahawks, they were able to hit the deep ball, something the Broncos offense didnt really predicate itself on. I think in the Super Bowl they should have had more down field passing, rather aim for 4-7 yard gains on every play.

Broncos with the additions to their D are all in. They take the Pats in the AFC title game again.

I think Broncos get KOd in divisional round by someone. But I guess it will depend on the matchup.

Denver is overrated fools gold. Every year they beat up on the cup cakes and lose to the majority of play off teams they play.
Last year the seas parted for Peyton to win a second Superbowl, getting a NE team at home that had all of its guys injured and was hoping to win with Blount.

Then they put up the most pathetic Superbowl performance I've seen this century.

I actually like the Jets odds against Denver more than any of the other big teams we have to play this year.

Denver as a top tier team is media invented bullshit. If the Pats stay healthy they'll embarrass the Broncos. I don't think they've ever beat the Pats with Gronk on the field, and IIRC their losses to NE have been pretty ugly over the last couple of years.

I'm expecting to lose to the Packers and the Patriots. I bet we beat the Broncos.

NE's offense in 2012 was the 3rd best of all time. His stats were only better last year.

I am totally over listening to Peyton praise. I don't care how badly he beats the Titans or the Raiders. Guy sucks in big time football.

He absolutely fucked up Brady's Pats in the AFCCG. I'd say that's big time football.

Pats have the better D and coaching, but the Broncos have the better QB and overall O.
I have no doubt the Broncos are the team to beat in the AFC.

This is a fuckin sick matchup. Two of the top 5 in the league. Talib to Denver plus Miller back will be huge for them. If Revis and Browner play man cover like we expect them to that D will be much improved.

I think Peyton goes on a rampage this season and they take it.

Ehh, they beat NE by 10 with half of NE's roster on IR, to be fair Denver was without Chris Harris, Von Miller and Clady, but NE was without both ILB's, can't remember if it was 2nd or 3rd string RT, RB with the 3rd (?) most catches in the NFL in ~7 games, Gronk, Talib left early on, both starting DTs, etc.

Game felt worse than the scoreboard says. It should have been the same score as the SB in Denvers favor realistically, but it wasn't.

As far as who is better, Brady has a statistically down year but remember only 8.5% of his 2012 receptions from WR were on the roster. 95% of those receptions are returning for 2014. Peyton probably had 20-30% of his yards gained from passes barely floating past the LoS to count as actual passes instead of runs and everytime he did go down field you heard it quacking.

NE's defense should be miles ahead of Denvers with pretty similar offenses due to everyone in NE having an extra year (3 rookies + a newcomer playing major roles in 2013) along with Gronk and Vereen returning, while Denver lost a pretty good #2 receiver and replaced him with, in my opinion, a not so good #2, and Welker looked a lot different after concussion #2 last season.

Hard to post an opinion without bias as NE is my team, but I truly do believe they will be the better team in 2014.

Was a pretty lame game against a Patriot team running on fumes with like 90% of its most important players on IR.

Seriously how many more pathetic endings to over hyped Peyton seasons do we have to endure before people stop talking about him. I watched a lot of Bronco games last year and it seems to me half of his 55 TD's were 5 yard dump offs that his receivers took 40 or 50+ yards to the house. Most over rated crap ever. The dude is like the Manchurian quarterback. No matter how badly he falls flat on his face every season the media will go back to turning him into superman because he put 300 yards and 4 TD passes on the 5 worst teams in the league.... in October.

I would of taken Eli over Peyton. I know that might sound ludicrous to fantasy football junkies, but as goofy as his brother is, Eli has grit. Anytime a game isn't going Peyton's way he starts looking like a 3 year old on the sideline who didn't get the toy he wanted, and basically just quits.

After that Superbowl especially I'm sick of the slobber fest over him already. Been hearing about him since the 90's and all he does is wilt.

GOAT's don't go down like Peyton goes down in the play offs. Every year it's the same thing. "This is going to be Peyton's year." Then he goes one and done or throws some ridiculous pick-6 to lose the game, he gets torn a new one by everyone for being the same ole' Peyton, then we're all supposed to get collective amnesia come August, September and October and go through the whole process all over again.

Seen that movie way too many times.
