That is true and I actually believed that there was a VERY tiny chance that Parker was going to leave if Duncan and Manu retired. Parker was in trade talks years ago to go to the Knicks. Im pretty positive the Knicks are targeting Marc Gasol so as long as he is availble, thats their hope. Lamarcus Aldrige will likely stay with Portland and has already stated he wants to stay there
They arent getting Durant, especially if he is already discussing the potential of going home to D.C. to. The Knicks likely wont even get Gasol either, Memphis can pay him more than Knicks.
Oh and not for nothing, but is Phil going to get bows every time he makes a roster move? I think the Tyson Chandler trade was good but god damn he got like a gold medal for that. Then the draft, they got Early, and again its like "OMG Phils doing so good".... Can they win some games before he starts getting applauded?
If that happens I'll eat my hat (both Rose staying healthy AND then winning the East). If Rose gets a cold during the playoffs, you know he's sitting out.
