My point is that both of them were considered top two receivers within a couple of years at the position and yet it took them both four full seasons to lead the league in any receiving categories for any given year, those categories indicating most productive.

The difference was that neither had the QB available early to help them reach that Most Productive level, which you indicated in your earlier post.

I was agreeing with you and you turned it into a meaningless debate, but I am right about this.

A player can be the best receiver in the league and not produce the most yards, touchdowns or receptions, which are productivity indicators. Other factors play into it.

He is dominating Eagles practices. Attacking the ball with his hands, catching passes from the Sanchize. Hopefully Pryor and Amaro do something fast to make me forget these reports out of Eagles camp

I think it was a given that Matthews would be an immediate contributor to whatever team drafted him. The Jets didn't draft him. No reason to hate.

Amaro is a work in progress, he's got a long way to go to learn the WCO.

FWIW, another WR I was very high on, Jarvis Landry is having a great camp in Miami.

Both Lee and Allen Robinson have looked good in camp as well.

Damnit, I hope we don't look back as a missed opportunity. Maybe, I am just let down a little bit because they aren't on the Jets.

If (a big if) Hill makes significant improvement this year, we will be fine at WR, as long as everyone is healthy.

Wasn't really a missed opportunity. By all accounts, we tried trading up HARD for Lee, but TB was scared ASJ wouldn't fall down to our 2nd round pick.
