I'm working from my home office this week. My 90 year old Dad is in, my GF is under the weather (not from battery I can assure you), so I can't do much else other than lounge in the pool, imbibe, cook great food and pick on illogical and immoral posters.

And I understand why you don't care what I think.

I don't believe anyone who thinks it's ok to batter a woman under these circumstances cares what anyone thinks about them, even strangers on the Internet.

I actually care about what people think about me, it's a personal integrity thing. Am I a good man. Was I a good husband. Am I a good father. We've all made mistakes but on balance am I thought of as being of high character or low character. If I honestly thought battering a woman under theses circumstances was acceptable, justified, expected, I'd be really really disappointed in myself and I'd try to hide that as much as possible. I wouldn't broadcast it.

But I don't think that way so I'm good with my compass and am grateful for how I was raised. I'm sure you have other redeeming characteristics.
