http://crime.about.com/od/Crime_101/f/What-Is-A-Assault.htm A thread about spitting on someone from lawyers.com you be the judge. http://community.lawyers.com/forums/t/87408.aspx
Yeah, if someone spits on you and you knock them out they might get a fine and you get arrested. Thanks for clarifying my point.
The possible charge of assault for spitting on someone does not justify hitting them, you would then just be charged with assault also. What Greenday still stands true, "Being spit on isn't legal justification for physically assaulting someone.".
Spitting on a complete stranger is also a heightened threat. Did the spitter have TB, AIDS, Hep B or Hep C, mono, herpes, etc. Pretty sure Ray and the wife have swapped spit before. Not that it makes it right but it doesn't carry the same potential disease issues. But you point out a another great fallacy in 1985s continued idiotic ranting. Because spitting may be assault has no bearing on whether an upper cut is legally justified, because it's not. _
Spitting is assault. Based on the law. Which means a upper cut a right hook a left hook a jab etc etc is justified. The law says it's assault and I'm still "wrong". Let's just agree to disagree. Maybe where you're from spitting is something that you can brush off.
This wasn't some random bitch in the street spitting on him it was his future wife, he should of just restraint her and dumped the bitch the next day not fucking haymaker her.
Let's agree you are wrong, just because it can be deemed assault does not mean hitting back is legal or justified.
In light of the recent domestic violence issue among NFL players, Goodell is stepping up the penalties according to this report. Roger Goodell To NFL Players: 'Murdering Your Wife Will Result In Automatic 4-Game Suspension' http://www.theonion.com/articles/roger-goodell-to-nfl-players-murdering-your-wife-w,36542/
Which goes back to one of my main points. Accountafuckingbility. Why isn't she accountable for her role in the situation? Both of them were arrested that night so clearly the law thought she was wrong as well.
First of all, uppercuts is not in the penal code for justifiable punishment of being spit on. Look it up. Second, there are only 2 scenarios when punching a woman in the face is justifiable. 1. She is coming at you with a gun, knife, axe or similar instrument of deadly force. Not spitting. Not hair pulling. Not crazy bitch crazy shit. Deadly force. 2. She's already drowned 2 of your children in the bathtub and she's pushing the third kids head under. That's it. You're severely confused. But based on your posting history that's not surprising. _
No, when someone posts something that is so over the top incomprehensibly stupid they are a troll. And you are a fucking illiterate asshole. Slightly nuanced difference. _
Okay you think spitting is not a justifiable reason to hit someone. Cool. To me it is. I don't care if you're a man or woman if you spit on me you are liable to get smacked, punched, etc. That's one of the most vile and disgusting thing any human being could do to another human being. Maybe where you're from spit is not that serious. But for me and where I'm from you could get killed for that. So maybe that's where the disconnect is coming from. We don't agree on this issue. So you throw out your defense mechanism ie "confused".
In some places, some people think the appropriate response to having sneakers stepped on is to shoot and kill the offender. That does not make it right so your whole "where I'm from" spiel is really useless in this conversation. Punching someone because they spit on you is not a legally acceptable response and in 99% of the instances I am sure the puncher would be charged. You think it is OK to hit women, something I asked before which you answered that it was not OK but have since answered multiple times that hitting the bitch would be your response. I am sure I am not going to change your opinion so I am done. Maybe you will grow up one day. Edit: I am just curious where you are from because I grew up in The Bronx and was taught that you don't raise a hand to women. Just curious where they teach otherwise.
