Dude, you are taking a stand for a guy that has proven to knock his wife unconscious in an elevator in Vegas. If a woman ever attacked me and my life was threatened, I would punch her in the face to diffuse the situation. This isn't that situation. An NFL player got into an argument with his girlfriend, then punched her in the face, and then dragged her out of the elevator. Those are the facts. You really need to choose your arguments.
Some of the supposed serious responses in this thread are either LOLworthy classic or frighteningly stupid. _
Yes. If you spit on somebody you are liable to get hit. Spitting is one of the most disrespectful things a human being can do to another human being. So I don't understand what your point is. Getting into an altercation with your woman and she's hitting and spitting on you. Is different from flat out abuse. So hitting a woman because dinner wasn't ready when you got home. No I don't think that is ok. Hitting a woman because she steps out of bounds and puts herself in a mans place. Justifiable. I hope this helps you understand the difference.
No what really funny is people who act so hard on a computer, but is a punk when your face to face with them.
What funny idnt get to beat my women she done died of breat canser 9 year ago b4 I kood beat her ass. You fucking illiterate asshole. _
Here is a recent story on Floyd Maywether I read. It goes Ito pretty good depth about the media and legal system and how professional athletes who hit women are treated. http://deadspin.com/the-trouble-with-floyd-mayweather-1605217498 As far as the people on here defending and excusing Rice for hitting a woman, you really need to educate yourself on acceptable use of force. Being spit on is not a legal excuse for anyone to attack a person. Nevermind that hitting women is wrong for a minute and go learn something about how the law works for average people like you and I before you make a life choice you can't take back. Or not, enjoy getting raped in prison wife beater.
Fines and suspensions mean nothing to NFL players. The fines go to charity and the player gets a tax deduction for the fine. Suspensions do hurt, but it is like a vacation to them. However He should have just walked away and let the gold digger be. Violence was not warranted. Hindsight is 20/20 though.
Call it what you want. The rules are simple you don't touch me I don't touch you. If you're a woman and you feel man enough to put your hands on me or spit on me you're liable for retaliation.
