I know I've busted your balls in the past about being young and not being able to understand things and don't take this the wrong way but you're being completely naive here as to what happened, what should have happened and what truly matters. Saying you don't attack or spit in someone presupposes a level of idealism that does not exist in human nature. "Keep your hands to yourself"? This isn't elementary school, this is real life with real tempers of volatile people in a volatile situation. _
Wrong.
Second time you've made this idiotic observation. Just stop, it's infantile. _
As a kid that's how I was raised and I took that to my adult life. No woman is worth my freedom. And based on how I carry myself no woman can even ponder the idea that she can hit or spit on me. But if you do something there are consequences. Her consequence was getting knocked the fuck out. His consequence was jail time and a potential suspension from his job. He's just lucky Goodell didn't punish him much worse.
Honestly, Ray should have spent some time in jail for this. The whole thing is now a joke. Ray is one lucky fucker and probably my least favorite NFL player. His comments in the press conference were so stupid. "sometimes you get knocked down in life" lol what an idiot.
Probably would have been an 8 week suspension had he walked out the elevator with a blunt in his mouth.
That does go both ways. A woman shouldn't be spitting on him when she knows she can get knock out by him.
Well that settles it I guess. You barely got through that statement but you did finish with an emphatic "period". Thanks for providing clarity Stone Cold Steve Austin.
Let me ask you a question? If you got into a argument with a dudes a lot bigger then u? Would u spit on him?
Nah, we don't need to have a discussion. You provided clarity and a conclusion when you established that they "both where wrong" and that "being spit on is a lot more disrespected."
The issue is not if spitting on someone is wrong, the issue is that Rice's response to being spit on by his fiance was to knock her out. He is 5' 8", 208 lbs. and a professional athlete who should be in top physical shape for his job. She is maybe 125 lbs. Just stop with the "they were both wrong" shit. Him hitting her was not justified by anything she did that night.
If my fiance hit me, I certainly, without a doubt would not even entertain the thought of hitting her. What would you do?
Have you made it this far in life without realizing the simple fact that men are physically superior to women? This is especially the case here since we're talking about a world class athlete in extraordinary physical condition. It's similar to hauling off and knocking out a child if they do something they know they aren't supposed to.
uhhhhh Is this a serious question? If so, I can tell you I certainly wouldn't punch her in the face and/or knock her unconscious! I'm not claiming to be some morally superior person either, I am an average American male. I would think most of us would have the same answer as me.
How about not putting your hands on someone clearly more physically imposing than yourself? Children are different they for the most part don't know any better. We're talking about two adults here.
