Eric Allen @eallenjets 1m Watching 1-on-1s. McDougle pops at you. Big-time talent. Intrigued by WRs because Decker, Kerley and Nelson all are so consistent.
Chris Lopresti @CLoprestiWFAN 11s Ivory in with 1st team on 1st team drill snap. A short completion from Geno to Kerley. #NYJ
Chris Lopresti @CLoprestiWFAN 17s Geno working the hard count. Just audibled and hit Kerley with a quick screen that went for big yardage. #NYJ
Seth Walder @SethWalderNYDN 9s Good coverage by Milliner on a deep ball to Decker from Vick that he broke up. #nyj Chris Lopresti @CLoprestiWFAN 33s Now Vick on. Had Decker open deep down left sideline but under thrown ball allowed Milliner to recover and knock it down. #NYJ
"Consistent" is such a huge word for us. We didn't really go after anyone with big play potential, but these last couple years we've only really had 1 receiver that can consistently do his job, and when Kerley was out last year we didn't really have one. If we can have 3 that would be such a game changer.
Manish Mehta @MMehtaNYDN 41s New Jets OLB Jason Babin playing both sides on second-team defense in his first practice. #nyj
Scott Salmon @ScottSalmon48 41s Has anyone other than Shaq Evans looked bad? Geno, Decker, Milliner, McDougle, they all are doing great.
I respectfully disagree wholeheartedly. Mike T had a win now at all costs philosophy that rarely if ever succeeds, particularly for a team with so many holes, and when it does it's very short lived. Had he remained in charge, we would be facing disaster, with an aging, hugely overpaid, inneficient team with no youth, no dept nor hope to build for the future. IMHO, No, he would not have succeed in the long run...ever.
Chris Lopresti @CLoprestiWFAN 1m Geno hits Amaro on back shoulder seam in 7-on-7. Rookie makes nice adjustment for the catch but had ball stripped. Decker recovered. #NYJ
Chris Lopresti @CLoprestiWFAN 19s No pads/hitting yet but Geno's ball placement has been superb as we near the end of practice No. 2. #NYJ
Chris Lopresti @CLoprestiWFAN 1m Now Vick throws a bit of a wobbler right through Amaro's hands. Rookie should have had it. Not the best 2 days for him. #NYJ
