Anyone else see it, it was alright but it already feels like the entire series needs another revamp. The whole movie felt really rushed to, to many things going on.
I haven't heard any positive buzz about this movie. At best, I read it should be called "the Adequate" Spiderman. I'll wait for Godzilla and perhaps the Xmen. The worst thing Marvel can do now is get greedy. They've waited on FF 3 and from what I've heard so far, they should have waited on this one too.
The entire movie and story was rushed. He goes from fighting electrode to the green goblin to rhyno with little to no character build up. It was kinda atrocious actually, and they also made the enemies like weak as hell.
The Amazing Spider-Man was terrible. I had very low expectations for The Amazing Spider-Man 2, but I was pleasantly surprised. Not a great film at all, but the visuals were great. Andrew Garfield did a good job as Spider-Man, Emma Stone was good as Gwen, the new Harry was good, so there were positives to take from this film. Plenty of crap though and as Soxxx said, very rushed. Too much stuff crammed into 1 film too. Instead of focusing on doing 1 thing right, they decided to try to do 20 things at average at best. Didn't work. It is an upgrade of the first one though. I would give it a B-.
Yeah I would just wait till Netflix, some significant stuff DOES happen so definately watch it, but I would not be running to the theaters to go see it. At some points I was honestly just wishing the movie would end (it is 2 hours).
Just read that Spiderman 3 is now pushed back to 2018 and that its "up in the air". Starting to sound like the whole series is going to get another reboot.
I am confused because The Sinister Six movie is coming out in 2016. That is a sequel to Amazing Spider-Man 2 but with just the villains? How will it work? Is Spider-Man in it? Why not just call it The Amazing Spider-Man 3: Rise of the Sinister Six? I don't know. Definitely a disappointing reboot of the Spider-Man franchise.
Im not sure, I further researched it and they are coming out with a Venom movie to so perhaps thats why Spiderman 3 is delayed for so long. I guess he will be in these other movies, so the 3rd one isnt needed as badly because a Venom movie has to contain Spiderman somehow correct? I also read that they have a Daredevil show coming in 2015, and somehow they are planning on "the defenders" which is the Hulk, Captain America?
Disappointing? I'll tell you what's disappointing. Spiderman 3 was an abomination. I don't know if this new series will workout, but a Sinister 6 movie could be when they open up the Osborn story-line more to open up for ASM 3
Understood, but believe It or not I've only seen 1/2 the movie and I like it, I don't get too critical with these movies, I just enjoy them
What half did you see, i liked the first half but the 2nd half to much stuff happens and thats where it came apart. I generally like Super Hero movies but I hate when they throw in so many villians, just focus on one instead of having a cluster of them get involved.
