you think Skip actually watches games now? Or just reads the box score and pretends to have watched it?

That whole conversation was ridicolous, Smith: "OMG how could the Twolves even CONSIDER that deal? why would they take Wiggins and Bennet over Barnes and Thompson". Well Mr. Smith, perhaps Wiggins has the potential to be a top player in the league while Thompson and Barnes will be lucky to be All Stars......

Then Skip says that the Cavs should trade Irving for Love, and that the Twolves would lose the deal if that happened. Like WTF?

Oh I didn't even watch it. Love for Irving would be interesting. Irving is basically the same boat as Love but younger. Young guy, can put up crazy numbers, but what about those playoffs?

Even with a healthy D Rose they would not eat that lineup alive. The Cavs still have the best player on the floor in that matchup. I don't really get the hype for Chicago and them being the odds on favorite for the #1 seed. D-Rose is great don't get me wrong but staying healthy is a skill and there's no reason to believe he'll be the same player for 82 games next year. I would certainly take Kyrie and the best player in the world over a question mark in Rose and Noah despite Noah being an elite player.

Well its the whole cat and mouse game, the Bulls would be able to score inside the paint with both Noah and Gasol....BUT now your asking Pau Gasol to defend Lebron James on the other end of the floor.

I would like the Cavaliers in this matchup, despite Marc Gasol having to go up against Noah and Pau, because on the other end the Bulls would be at a major disadvantage.

(and not for nothing but the Cavaliers could always switch Wiggins/Waiters out and bring in Thompson or Verajou. Teams are allowed to make ajustments)

They are very good without Rose. Their defense would give cleveland plenty of problems. You see how far they usually get without rose, they just need a scorer badly. THe kid butler plays defense on lebron about as good as anyonce can possibly do it, doesnt stop him but definitley affects lebron. Noah is defensive player of the year for a reason, he controls that paint defensively. Cant really call a match up between Rose and Kyrie .. i doubt rose plays at his old level. I think it would be a 7 game series in the playoffs

Bottom line is I would not give up Wiggins for Love, especially when there is a good chance you wont have to give him up anyway. The other thing that people are missing is that this isnt just Love for Wiggins, this is Wiggins+10 million extra to spend on other play, for Love.

Ill take the defensive guy over the offensive guy, especially when you have Irving and Lebron who are capable of producing a ton of offense. Besides, Loves value would drop in that offense, sure he averages 25 right now but that number will go down if he the #2 or #3 guy on an offense.

As much as I'd like to see Love in Cleveland, I wouldn't want to give up Wiggins (and especially Waiters--would like to see him on TV all the time). Wait it out and let Love force the issue and hold firm on not giving up Wiggins.

Trying to make the Cavs overpay for Love more than likely.

Ray Allen leaning towards signing with Cavs.

They just keep bringing pieces that make them better and better. Amazing. Players just following LeBron.

Cleveland about to hit the jackpot again lol

Reports are that Kevin Love is making it public knowledge that he will end up in Cleveland no matter what happens. When he becomes a free agent or through trade, he wants to play with LeBron. This has severely hurt all other suitors trying to trade for him. Chicago and Golden State don't want to get a guy that wants to go to another team eventually. Puts Timberwolves in a terrible position and puts Cleveland in an awesome one.

If Cleveland gets him, they are instantly the best team in the East. No doubt

People around the league are saying that Love will be on the Cavaliers very soon. Timberwolves have no other option but to get what they can while they can.

Which we have been saying all along, yet for the last couple weeks people all over the media were seriously debating if he was going to the Bulls or Golden State. I mean come on, anyone with a brain would have realized that the Bulls and Warriors were not real threats unless Love commits there, which he hasnt, and he has no reason to considering if he goes to Cleveland he will get paid max money, compete for championships, and play with Lebron James. His face will also be plastered all over everyone's TV screen for the next couple years to.

It's pretty stupid that Wiggins can't be traded for a whole month. Whoever made that ridiculous rule up should be fired. There is ZERO point to something like that. It just delays what we all know is happening.

    edit: post 2,000! haha
