For me, it would probably be a tie between the Lions and the Chiefs. With the Lions, I'll be there, and I'm really interested in seeing how our secondary matches up against Megatron and Golden Tate. In terms of the Chiefs, that'll be our first test at a really hostile and loud environment. Curious to see how the entire team handles that.
Actually, I'm not that excited to see how our secondary matches up against Megatron and Golden Tate haha. I've got amazing seats for the home game against the Pats week 16 so I've gotta go with that. Hopefully the game still means something, it'd be such an awesome experience to get the atmosphere of a rivalry game with a playoff feel.
Since you have to wait 9 months for the opener, I'd argue it's a statistical impossibility to look forward to any game more than you do that one, but, anyway. Always excited for the Pats games, home and away. The home game is maybe more nerve-wracking because you feel like you have to win it, whereas you basically expect to lose the away game so you are going in there with less pressure. There's the feeling that if you could just sneak out SOME kind of a win, it would be great- largely because I sit next to a Pats fan at work. Also interesting this year are the Buffalo games. We're expecting to win one, possibly two of those games, but for the first time in a long time- so are they. Those games are going to get closer and more competitive as EJ Manuel improves; I think losing Kiko Alonso is huge for them- and therefore good for us. Hopefully we can sweep them with our defense & running game. And then there's the Dolphins, which are the two games I'm actually looking forward to the most. Man, I love beating those teal colored farts. So great. So great.
Bills are gonna be hit this year.. when they picked watkins i was like "holy fuck" .. but once they traded stevie J i wasnt worried about them anymore.. esp. losing byrd to NO & if i wasnt dreaming i think i heard Kiko is out for the season too? Light work
It's all fun and games until our linemen crush his chest and they put in their 7th round pick QB and he becomes a top 3 quarterback for the next decade.
Freezing your nuts off is what football's all about. I've never really liked going to short-sleeve weather games, I usually only go to 1 or 2 games a year and I make sure they're near the end. It's high risk high reward though, because that late in the year the games are either completely meaningless or high stakes thrillers.
I like October/November games the best.. Not hot and not freezing.. I did go to Pittsburgh for the championship game tho and that was no joke... But my adrenaline was pumping so much I didn't really mind it.. Hopefully that game is for the AFC east.. If it is, I might be flying up and joining you.
Right now it's Week 1- but if it comes down to the last 2 games of the season, and it might- then those will be very intense and exciting games.
