It's too soon to say who will give him consideration as a starter- I don't know which exact teams are going to decide to adopt a Chip Kelly style offense, but I'm sure a few teams will. As for Freeman, I think he's better than Sanchez, but Schottenheimer's offense was so demanding and complicated that I don't think it would've made a huge difference.
The reality is you may also have the scenario where Kerley plays on there outside more given a) question mark opposite Decker and b) it would provide a door for Saunders to get on the field consistently. In that scenario, barring injury or significant regression it becomes even harder to keep Kerley. He's a good receiver, probably deserves 3-5mm annually and I hope we pay him. Also, not to be a Debbie downer as I'm rooting for all of our rookies but I don't think Amaro will have the immediate impact to this offense that ppl are assuming. From reports that I've read he struggled picking up the offense thus far and it's going to be a big adjustment from his college style O.
If we produce enough talent in a short period of time that's great. I am more worried about making the playoffs than cap space.
exactly who care how Woody Spends *HIS* money..or What Rex is wearing for that matter. Basically if it doesn't happen on the football field...it's not football, and we are here to talk football!!
